Sharing my tire size
After 3 cracked OEM wheels on 2 different times on pot holes and nails filled of Los Angeles streets, I replaced my continental run flats with Michelin AS 4. My 2020 C43 stock car comes with 19" multi spoke wheel. There is no Michelin AS 4 in the size 225/40/19 available until mid July, and I desperately need to replace the contis because 1 of them is the original 3 years old and tread is very worn out (the other 3 tires were replaced during those pot holes incidents a few years back). My local tire shop replaced it with 235/40/19 in front and 255/35/19 in rear. They balanced and aligned the wheels and said it would work.
Has anyone has the same set up without problem?
Thank you in advance!

Your front tires will be 10mm larger in diameter than the rears. I can't speak to if that is an issue, but it is out of spec and I personally wouldn't do it.
That translates to 10 revolutions per mile less... https://tiresize.com/calculator/

It's recommended to stay within 3% of the diameter/height of the original tire. From the website referenced in the post above, we get this:
So the tire should work, although, I probably would've gone with a +0 upgrade for the rear tire as well, to maintain the stagger.

My concern would be less about the change, and more about the difference between front and rear. If both were bigger, then your speedo would be off. With only one pair being bigger, might be hard on the diff.

I went with 245 35 19 fronts with 275 30 19 on the rears. Tires are firestone indy 500 a real aggressive looking tire thats got oodles of grip. The sidewalls are super stiff sidewall which helps with the feeling of the tire rolling over in hard corners. Also tires round off at sidewall to the tread instead of a square tire. Fogot to mention tires are comfy and quiet

Running a wider tire on a stock wheel than OEM will DECREASE performance in most circumstances. And in reality, the narrower tire on a given wheel width will out perform its counterpart. Aka - running a 245 on a 7.5 is BAD.
Stick to OEM tire sizes on OEM wheels is the best advice I could give you.

The rear should have been 265 35 19. ALexasa seems to know whats up considering all his informative posts. The difference in tire diameter will be .4" on the fronts and .7" on the rears. Will that cause issues with drivetrain,4 matic? Only time will tell or ask your dealers mechanic if possible.
