Fuel injector interchange problem

I have a fuel injector going south, long starts, carbon on spark plug, carbon on exhaust tips.

I purchased a A2560700187 (Bosch pn 0261500397) , listed on FCP Euro's website as compatible with my car. Flow code 3534B.

What came out of the engine was A2780700687 (Bosch pn 0261500065), flow code 320DU.

My autel says coding failed every time I attempt to code in the new injector.

Any thoughts? Are these two injectors not cross compatible? Is there are different process other than the fuel injector encoding?

For anyone who cares. This was "operator error." My Autel subscription had run out, and I didn't realize injector coding required the MB SCN online capability.

Rather than pay $800 for a renewal for the MS909 I just got a Launch X431 Elite V2.0 BBA. It worked without issue.

Life time subscription for Benz, BMW, Audi.

Yeah no big deal. I was just really worried that the new injector part number wouldn't fit since I had already paid to have 6 of them rebuilt and flow matched for when I get the Spool fuel pump upgrade.

Thankfully they DO work with no issues, and my plans proceed. Mostly just tucking money away for the@Spool Perf FX350 right now.

so if I’m reading this correctly, the launch model that you reference does SCN coding? I hit a snag with xentry recently where I calibrated a sensor incorrectly, but it will not let me fix it without scn coding which I don’t really want to pay for.

Yes it has some features enabled for SCN coding. I don't know the comprehensive list, but it does have a couple of "special functions" for a lot of the modules in the car.

The Autel "online SCN" is about changing some SCN codes according to Autel data base. Has nothing to do with SCN online from official Mercedes server.
Online with Autel, nothing more.

Same as "Mercedes subscription" or "workshop official license" nothing to do with Mercedes Servers. Only about a hacked data base or licence of a specific vendor, usually without Mercedes paid subscription.

Unfortunately, the way the menu and functions of the Launch scanners work, there no real way to see the special functions unless the vehicle is connected to the scanner.
