2016 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe spied for the first time

The rear trunk seems too small and I actually like the tail lights on the sedan. Front to about the rear pillar looks nice, although missing the fender flare, but I'm just not a fan of the rear. Let's see what it looks like for real...
For me if the render holds to form, then in terms of looks:
M4 > C63S Sedan > M3 > C63S Coupe
As AV1 said, if the car is lengthened somewhat, especially the back, that would definitely help.
Just my opinion, but still excited to see it in the flesh.
EDIT: OK, it's growing on me.
Still like the sedan a little more, but I can see the potential of the coupe.EDIT2: You know, I can't wait to see spacers on the sedan actually..a little rear wheel poke on the C63S sedan
Are you a sedan guy due to necessity or due to looks (or both)?

I'm in love with those renders, in my eyes it's an "almost" perfect look for the new C205 C63 and a decent upgrade from the already good looking C204.
As noted already I love the C204 style rear quarter glass and it looks like a shortened boot or trunk lid with a further elongated roof line compared to the C204 couple with a S Class coupe looking rear end for me that is beautiful proportioning and so sexy to look at from the front or rear

It's interesting to see peoples different opinions on car configuration appeal, always a case of each to his own

For my own circumstance I don't need the extra space or practicality of a sedan or estate wagons although in my opinion I think the estates look better than the sedans in a particular car model series.
Coupes of all types have always appealed to me more looks wise than other configurations so that being the case I'm a coupe man first and foremost and would rank the 204/205 series and the competition (based on exterior looks and appeal) as follows - assuming the new C205 C63 is going to look like that render or hopefully even better:
C205 C63 > C204 C63 > RS5 > M4 > W205 C63 estate > W205 C63 sedan > M3

I hear ya about the looks of the C63S sedan. I really like the way it looks as well, and even though I've been a coupe guy, the C63S sedan is starting to change that perception. It has the perfect mix of classy-aggression. I can't wait to see forum members post their cars here, in stock form or with mods. Going to be fun!
C205 C63 > C204 C63 > RS5 > M4 > W205 C63 estate > W205 C63 sedan > M3
I personally think the C205 C63 will look better than the render, so bring it on!

Here are more spy pics with very little camo:

There are a bunch of other new spy pics floating around as well. Can't wait for the September reveal!
If it turns out like this, sign me up!! I'll keep my CLA45 for daily driving and have the C63 coupe as my fun car. Really looking forward to the reveal in September.
They need to keep the fender flare for that aggressive look. Keeping my fingers crossed that they don't tone down the coupe.
The back still looks too narrow for my taste. I sure hope they widen the C63 coupe variant. Front looks different on the black compared to the blue one. Blue one could be the c450 sport
exhaust is different as well.
And at least for now one 1 of my wishes has come true as it DEFINITELY has slimmed out sleeker tail lights which IMHO look hot and infinitely better compared to the short stumpy and ungainly sedans rear tail lights.
It'll also retain the kink up in the rear quarter glass panel just like the C204 - another wish list winner

Can't wait for the full reveal, hopefully the C63 variants will have widened wheel arches and down the track an option for AWD as well that'll make it the total dream package

However they have placed the wing mirrors in the wrong place as they are door mounted.
I'm not really sure why though, I don't really like the door mounted wing mirrors, especially as the plate for the mounting its still in the corner.
Roll on September!
