The SL receives likewise a Facelift, however the SBC keeps brake until its successor 2012 on the market comes. 2006 will likewise give it a limited edition of the CLK DTM Cabrios. It has the new M156 E 63 V8-Sauger of AMG with 510 HP. This engine is implemented gradually into all series. Also into the at the beginning of 2007 appearing new C-class sedan (W204). It is then equipped and ordered also with PreSafe. The petrol engines receive then a Benzindirekteinspritung. Besides they could have a starter generator, which makes the generator redundant and it made possible, which the engine at traffic light stops switches off automatically. The 4-Zylinder M271 generation is changed over later by compressor to turbo. C 200 K is to carry 175 HP and C out 230 K 200 HP for the time being. In the autumn then the 4,55m appears long t-model (S204)
2008 appear then the small Offroader (rather Onroader) on C-class the t-model been based. It has 4matic. The engine pallet of the SUV built in Bremen begins only with V6 Motoren.Mercedes wants from the small Offroader approximately 40,000 pieces per year set off at prices off approx.. 36,000 EUR. The stuff I read from Germany (Der Spiegel) said the 63 was going to go in the CLS class with the C55/CLK output pumped up to 420 HP via a new 8 cylinder 32 valve direct injection with VVT system and enhanced exhaust.

You guys are dreaming if you think they will drop the AMG equipeed E/CLS/SL/S engine into the C-class. We should be thrilled with 420.

You can't pay the price of a W203/4 and get Ferrari power and Maybach luxury !! C55 is designed to compete with M3 ; if E90 M3/4 gets 420hp, C55 will be 10%+/-
The 510hp version of the 6.3 engine is for CLS63 and E63
Stop dreaming and save bucks for a 500hp whatever not a C.

I thing a lot is lost in translation from "C class sedan" to the actual 4 door CLS coupe. They are throwing new heads on the old block. That is enough for me. 

I remember the days back in the 80s when the Lamborghini Countach 5000 S (pre-anniversary edition) made 380 hp and that was a supercar figure.... The Ferrari Testarrosa used to struggle to get 6.0 second 0-60 times.. It's interesting how the AMG cars of today annihilate those times...

I thought C55 owners here already know , we don't need 462hp to kill
a RS4
And, if all the 'cheap' models get 462-510hp, wonderwhat engine MB will put inside the SL

Do you think they could use the e55 enigine without the supercharger and a little boost in compression?

The current C55 motor IS essentially the E55 motor without the supercharger. It does have a higher compression ratio (11.0:1, I believe).
