im still gunna stand firm on my hypothesis that MB is going to twin turbo charge the DOHC 4 valve/cyl 3.5L V6 in the SLK350 and put it in the W204 AMG!!! I d have no complain about a twin turbo V6!! Remember when somebody asked an AMG driver about AMG using turbocharging in future models and he smiled...
if history were to repeat itself then it would only make sense...
W202 C36 = 6cyl

Ok, i was reading car and driver at like 6am yesturday half asleep. i saw a small article on the new 6.3L. Was i dreaming? or did they say the redline will be 8500!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

The base (Non-AMG) V8 for the USA market will be a 5.5 liter 388 HP V8.
The AMG V8 will be a 6.3 liter 510 HP unit which will be used accross the entire AMG product line of MB vehicles that are designed to accept a V8.
