C63, M3 E90, SLK55, Z4M.
If I do end up to trade my C55 for one of the above roadsters, I will not get the C63 until 2008/9, and financially allows, I will trade my 330i E90 for either a C63 or the M3 E90.
If I do not replace my C55 with a roadster by 2007, I will just trade the C55 for the C63 soon as it is launched.
I don't think I am doing anything this year, as I am yet to see if there were a facelifted SLK55 or a Z4M with SMG III or a Z4 3.0 with the 306hp new turbo engine and new auto tranny.
There are no other choices which I love and can afford.

Black is a tough color to keep clean. Although it looks awesome when it shines at night, especially in HK where city lights and commercial boards are intense. From a distance, dark color cars are hard to recognize at night.
For a relatively small sedan like C, I think I'd still go with white.
If I move up to E, I'd go with either white or medium shade grey (granite grey). I'm not brave enough to get a hued color like blue or red.. I don't know, I haven't seen any of those colors on a Mercedes that I like. To me the brand Mercedes-Benz still feels too formal to play with colors, unlike Lambo, Ferrari or Porsche.

For C63, I also love it to be with the IWC Special Edition CLS55 AMG 's body color , I think it is called Indium Grey (code 963). I read the bronchure that this special color 'Iridium grey' can be specially ordered for the E-Class , but this special paint option is very expensive here (~USD4000).

Indium Grey is also beautiful i was just checking it out. Would it come on a C63 though or would it be a custom job?

I would like to see the C63 available in Flint Grey or Lemans Blue Metallic. I think that would look sweet. Too bad the C55 was never available in Flint Grey. I wonder when MB will post possible paint colors for the next generation C-Class?

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
I would take a white car.
I wonder if Mercedes still offers a "colour to match sample" option? I was visiting Porsche's museum about ten years ago when a truck load of Mercedes bodies-in-white (industry term for an unpainted chassis) passed into the gates of the Porsche factory. I asked a Porsche worker what they did with them. He told me that the Porsche paint line was nimble enough to change colour quickly and easily, and quality was upto the tough Mercedes specifications for client directed finish (colour to match sample.) Since it was a small volume by Mercedes standards, they sent the cars to Porsche for the work.
US$ 4,000 is a reasonable price for a custom paint colour. They do put a quart of paint in the boot to touch up if required.

Now, 3 months since I started this thread.
Okay, frankly, I am not getting a C63, at least at this point of time.
After I have seen many W204s on the roads, I only like W204 in black, don't know why...

Okay, I'm not a current MB owner, E46 M3, but now that wife has given me permission to pull the trigger, it's red all the way. I am a little tired of silver and gray Mercedes. And I've never had a red car, so here goes!
