The proliferation of exhaust exits cracks me up. I saw an Acura TSX-S-type yesterday also with four exhaust tips. We laugh at the huge vertical tail fins of the 1960s and we mock the gigantic rear wings sold on the aftermarket, and I still cannot bring myself to respect Pontiac for the many years of nonfunctional scoops and fins that they put on their cars.
My wife's Audi TT has dual exhaust. It's a 4 cylinder engine! One exhaust manifold! They actually had to add weight and complexity to split the exhaust in two.
The C32 is a V6 but has a single exhaust all the way to the rear bumper. To me, this is ultimate functionality (except for the bogus dual exhaust tips).
Some day we will laugh at quad exhaust tips.

Anyway, C63 is looking good. I'm not 100% used to it yet, the tail lights look a tad, tad bit funny, but I'm slowly adjusting. Also, shouldn't this car come with a spoiler?! And a PANO Roof?! Ahhh, Mercedes getting cheap again!

I agree and disagree. I think the quad-exhaust doesn't suit the CLK/C55 nor CLK/C63, but I think the E/CLS/55, 63 and bigger models (i.e. S, CL, SL), the quad-exhaust pipes suit the cars very well. For the smaller cars it just seems like they are trying to squeeze in all the pipes in there. I like the C32 setup, that's why I went out and brought the muffler.

Yeah that is pretty true though, you're probably just adding weight and resistance by having a "dual" exhaust on an engine that doesn't need it. Look at the underside of an E46 M3 just to see how ridiculous the muffler is when they could have kept the same style as the E36, which had the same output in europe with only one true tip!
But the new V8 M3's and C63's might need dual exhausts though.

the are like the K&N filters, but are fully cotton and work a lot better then the K&N they will help improve the airflow in your car and may help increass a little power, but it will not improve gas milage on the car, where the K&N does improve gasmillage on the car but is not good for your car. With the green they will last longer then the stock filters and u never need to change them just clean them as needed. IMO: a good investment. But they are $$ and had to find, it took the shop 5 weeks to order my Green filters in

jgsx - this my personal opinion and i should have soften up my statement above as i realise tons of folks like the appearance.
i first became aware of carbon fiber in 1979 through it's application to a particular sport's equipment. the resiliency and superiority of carbon fiber over steel was amazing. i used carbon fiber equipment from that moment to this day...i'm an f1 buff and appreciate the optimal use of CF in these amazing race cars.....from tubs baked in aerospace size autocalves to the CF brake discs that take 2 weeks to layer together to the finely wrought suspensions so strong and yet so fragile to forces from directions they were not designed.
i'm an audio nut- i like modifying digital to analong convertors , amplifiers etc.....and even speakers. one of my favorite things is using raw CF to reinforce weak diaphragms of cheap woofers- making them immune to breakup with magnitudes less distortion in their passband. make something that cost $30 perform like $150.
proper use of CF - in a pasenger car- is construting the roof from it, saving weight in a position that will maximize a reduced center of gravity. (csl, e92 m3)
maybe your CF interior saved a few ozs a pound or two at max........you didn't NEED any of the remarkable properties of CF for your interior trim.

I agree with the quad pipes thing...the C is just too small to justify it. My mom's TL-S has quad pipes and I think they look better...
I really like the RS set up of the two gaint tips!

I frequently work with cf since I'm an aerospace engineer. I understand and appreciate it. I did not put cf in my interior for the weight savings. I put it in because a high quality piece of cf is absolutely beautiful. The 3D appearance is mesmerizing. Almost everyone that has been in the car has been in awe over it. I can't keep my hands off of it.

agree re appearance of CF. my dream car's interior has liberal use (ferrari challange stradale). and...it's 2900 lbs almost 300 lbs lighter than a stock 360.
