No, unfortunately nobody has ever talked about the price, not even the ballpark figure. None of the magazines ever mentioned about the price, and it has never been discussed at all in this forum.

over here in holland it will be starting at: 91.900 euros = 135,046.77 dollars atm.

But we pay loads of taxes so ull pay much less.

it's relative price is what is important, ie how much is it comapred to other Mb products, and that will let you work out the price for your country.

Once again, if you have to ask what the price is, you probably don't want to know. So pardon me for being the bearer of bad news.

I'd expect something right around $63K, possible a little more. The Lexus IS-F was $68K in the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalogue, the magazines are expecting the Lexus IS-F to come in at around $59K.

I realize this is a huge increase vs the previous C55 AMG which stickered at $55K, but keep in mind of the current weakening of the US Dollar.

Expect the BMW M3 to do the same damage as the Mercedes, another ironic move because the BMW M3 is usually slightly less expensive than the Mercedes C-Class AMG model on the window sticker (but actually about the same when you factor in the discount one gets on a Mercedes).

Regardless of my accuracy, we'll all know soon enough exactly where the price tag stands.

Are you expecting anything other than MSRP for the C63 the first year? I'm not.

Odd logic. A floundering economy means less profits for luxury car dealers so they can't just hike up prices when people are unable to pay them.

To compare:

A C55 base price: 96.200 euros = 141.279 USD
A C63 base price: 91.900 euros = 134.964 USD

that means the C63 is cheaper here

A E63 base price: 133.500 euros = 196.058 USD

A S63 base price: 191.400 euros = 281.090 USD
A S65 base price; 296.000 euros = 434.706 USD

A CLS63 base price: 150.100 euros = 220.437 usd

And the big news is that next year everything here gets even more expensive YAY!! more taxes

I was at the dealer past wednesday to mount the snow tires and I asked about the C63. I was told it would about $80K loaded. I hope he is wrong because $80K is alot of money for a C-class. The highlight of the visit was I was able to see and sat in a CLK63 black Series in the show room. Gorgeous car inside and out The owner of the dealership fired up the car to show me the exhaust note and it was quite orgasmic. The only thing I wish the car has is a leather dash. I only wish I have $138K laying around in the house to buy that car.

At $80K I would lose interest in the C63. At $70K it is a good option.

Funny to read that your dealer said $80K. I was at the dealership last week getting an oil change and I asked my dealer the same question. He said mid $80K range. I don't know where he pulled that figure from but I kept quiet and told myself just wait until MBUSA posts the price. Now why would dealers be getting $80K in their heads? Do they know something we don't or do they just know less than us?

Agreed. That dealer was full of crap. The C63 is a competitor to the M3...the market knows it as does MB and BMW. C63 doesn't sell at $80. That's only $13k away from the CLS63 base and only $5k shy of the E63. I'd opt for the CLS550 LONG before I pay $80k for a C series.

I think there's just too much arrogance coming from MB dealers. When I asked my dealer about the C63 I could tell he was talking out his *** the whole time, but he still had the hubris to say it would mop the floor with the M3.

most sources say 63K , Mercedes alwys said pricing closer to M3, so my guess would be 61K to 64K

the reason why the stealership says it's $80k is because fully loaded it will be $70k + $10k markup lol

I will wait for all the first comers to get them, then I will pay invoice. Besides who the hell cares how much it is. If you can afford $60K you can afford $70K.

I'm not paying $80K so apparently there are people out there who make decisions on price.

I don't think he was talking markup, I think he meant MSRP. I think he was just wrong.

This is due to the wonderful new taxation system in Finland which taxes the car according to the theoretical CO2 values, not the true use of the car.How environmentaly friendly is that!!!
Sadly this new taxation system is going to kill all powerful cars in Finland. Soon the only ones driving cool cars will be government officials with their limousines.

This is also the cause why they will have no C63 test car at MB in Finland at least for now...

Yes, to me they said in the summer maybe... to me it sounded that they will bring it only if there is interest.
