Looking for Steel Grey Pictures

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I have a C63 in the steel grey on order that is being built early May for June delivery. I have not been able to find any pictures of the steel grey other than the C350 pictures. If anyone has any please post.

Don't have one but this brings up a good point ... how many people are buying cars that they have not seen the colour in daylight at least in a picture?

In the UK we have the web configurator. Apparently Palladium looks like this

but in real life looks like this

thats a big difference

In the web configurator we do not have Steel but we do have tenorite

Great colour but why do Mercedes not put up images in natural outdoor light so we can judge properly?

For $50 000 or £50 000 we deserve to know that the colour we want will look good on our driveways, is that too much to ask?

Regards
Andy

My local dealer has all of the colors in the C350's but I was just curious what the color looked like with the AMG package. The steel grey does look different in the different light conditions. I think that it has more metallic chips than the other silver colors.

Totally agree! Unfortunately, BMW, MB, Audi...they all play the same game with their colors. It's extra unfortunate they do this with cars like he C63 which most of us will be lucky if we get to see one of these in person before we buy, much less get to compare colors in the flesh. I'd suggest going to the dealer and looking at the colors on regular c-class. the bodies are so similar it'll be easy to visualize it on the C63...me, i'd definitely go with the steel grey.

If you could that would be great.

We need the entire set lined up so we can compare and contrast, but sadly that aint going to happen. At least we have a start here though.

Ask and you shall receive. RJR, this should give you a better idea of what you are looking for.

As requested by a few of the members, I took shots of the C63 AMG in Steel Grey with a Sahara Beige Interior. The other thread I have pictures of the Palladium Silver one. I like the Steel Grey one better than the Palladium Silver... but christ, I'll take either one

The sun wasn't cooperating with me this morning, but I hope it gives you guys an idea of what the Steel Grey looks like on this monster:

Looks great, thanks very much. I went with the all black interior with black seats but I do like the two tone look with the stone color seats.

That is Palladium. I have seen Palladium in real life on a sports pack C-class and it looks almost identical to that, but slightly darker in real life.
