Anyone here wish MB priced C63 higher?
Then again I see MB's point of competing with the M3 and other cars priced in that range.
Just curious if anyone else felt that way.

When you go to buy one just give them more than the MSRP.
First of all, as you mentioned, they are in competition with the M3. A significant ($5k-10k) hike in price will probably make the car unattractive.
Secondly, it is a C-class. Despite the desire for exclusivity, the appearance is not much different than a base model. This desire for exclusivity will just be an "insider" or "selfness" feeling because it is probably just you and a handful of other people who would see and understand the AMG model. This is fine, if you truly an enthusiast... but why pay more in the end anyway?
In my opinion, exclusivity is best achieved buying impractical cars, like the Lotus Elise. I believe they have an MSRP below the C63 but are hardly around.

C63 on road cost :- AUD150,000
M3 on road cost :- AUD170,612
(Prices are straight up, no negotiation, and from the two MB/BMW dealers in Brisbane)
This is without any extra option on either car. I have to say that I am happy that the C63 is 20 grand less.

I remember when I was in school and lusting after the SL500 ('80s-'90s), I believe they were priced over 100 grand at that time. Since then, MB had to adjust the price down in order to compete.
regardless Ill be getting one, just with more options

I can't afford to buy a new M3 or C63 so I like to see M3's, AMG's, Ferraris, Porsches and Lamborghinis and other sportscars. It makes me happy to see cars like that and I think EVERYONE should have an M3 or AMG Mercedes, that would be paradise to me

My GL550 got some looks when I drove to Texas last a while back. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful it was and well how it put their Suburban's and such to shame.
