Dang I thought people would have jumped all over this thread and called their dealers to find out the numbers.

I would imagine the lease rates would be around $1200-1300.

Compared with the M3 I think the C63 will be a dog to lease. Finance people tell me if I'm wrong.

Isn't the E63 going for $1000, I was hoping for lower figures.

How do you figure that price? I was pricing on the MBUSA site earlier and for a $70000 car with $7K down (so price of $63000) for 60 months it was $883. I don't know anything about leases, so am trying to understand how it works. Thanks for any info.

I think the residuals will be suboptimal in keeping with prior AMG cars and agree that the lease payments will run around $1200 for 15k/36 months/$0 down.

I can get a rate of 4.4% through my credit union so thats a money factor of .00183. I am just waiting to see what the depreciation is and what deal I can get to find out my numbers.

Study the formula cause the dealer can tell you your getting one number but until you check it yourself don't buy it.

The formula is at the bottom of the page so you can study it.

Unfortunately you can't try and figure the C63 lease rate by doing the method above. The residual for each car varies. My approximation was based on what a Porsche salesman once told me. He said for a ballpark figure, its about $20 for every $1,000 the car costs. I would assume that includes 0 down, 36 months and 15k miles a year.

Thanks, everyone. That is a great link. One of the reasons I am leaning toward MB is my father is a retired employee so I get a great discount.

expect to come in very near $1000/mo for C63. the M3 lease will always have a better residual, sad but true.

ive been told to use $30 per 1k down as a rule of thumb...my current lease on the RRS is $878 per month with $10k down, with nothing down it would have been right around $1200...

im hoping to get my monthly right around the same if not a bit lower, hopefully the residual isnt that bad
