C63 Keyless?

Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the C63 being keyless (push to start button? maybe like the CLS, on the actually shift knob) If not do you think if you order it from MB they can add it on?

That is pretty weird that they don't offer it with Keyless Go. I love mine.

I doubt it will be an adable feature. I looked into it for my c55 and was told no way- different harness etc. If it is adable LET ME KNOW!

Well, Canada has it so I do not know why you wouldn't be able to add it.

I also have heard it will be available on the '09 model but have no idea if it's true.

There are sensors in each door, different door handles, major component changes to the Central Locking System, and many many other things involved.

Sunil did this in his C320 (W203) and it cost him a fortune. Its not worth it and needless to say it isn't cost effective.

I don't quite understand the point of the keyless go system that MB use on the C's. You still have to have the key on you (in your pocket or bag) to unlock it and then hit the starter button to start it.
If instead of a key, all you needed was a smart card that you could keep in your wallet for example, then it would be fine.

There is an actual key in case the system fails to start the car, there is still a slot to insert it and start up. This is how all the keyless go systems work including my Audi.

Neither is a C63, but they sure are fun. Remember shrouds don't have pockets, you can't take it with you.
