The VPR530 Package does not include the ECU upgrade. It does include Alternator and Water Pump UD Pulleys, VRP-Hi-Flow Air Filters , Phenolic Heat Spacers and a Relocate of the IAT sensor. A X-Pipe is optional for Resonator delete.
They will do an ECU upgrade though....

Until now no AMG drive train was so uncompromisingly developed to speed and response. But after a MKB conversion you can feel a big improvement: our MKB 63/8 reacts to the slightest movement of the accelerometer. He will zoom you to the desired speed in the same time as the wish comes to your mind. Gearbox and engine are melted together as an outstanding propulsion unit. Aggressive 567 hp mean riding on the edge for most Mercedes drivers, but for a few it means sheer pleasure.
The MKB technology tuning starts its first power stage with well known modification: an adjusted engine control unit converts together with an adapted exhaust manifold every AMG-Mercedes into a real sports car. The step-I-variant of the MKB 63/8 has got its heat at Nardo – 330,5 km/h

I have a good story for you. A client form my MB dealer bought a C63 and went to AMG in Affalterbach to have his car derestricted in every possible way. After much whining they agreed to replace the C63 engine management with the S63 engine management freeing up the all the 525 horses.
It apparently took some convincing, but eventually they did it.
So if you live in Europe, it might be worthwhile to drive over there (make an apointment 1st) and have them do that to your car too:

Oh BTW, MKB is a reputable company as well. Old AMG engeneers formed that company so they know what's what.
