Does anyone know if your a MB employee if you get a discount on a car. I was talking to the wife and was talking about the car and she said as much as I liked talking about cars I should sale them. Well if I know we bought our Denali through the employee discount sale they had a couple years ago so that dropped the price from 58K to 47K so hey if MB would do that I'd work part time for a few months till my 63 got here. Any thoughts?

Wasn't going to quit my day job cause I dont have one. I work 4 nights and two fo those days Sat and Sun nights. So I could sell cars 2 or 3 days. Hey I'd love to take people for test drives. "I see you drive that '76 Pinto ... you should upgrade to this Black Series ... Care for a test drive?"

I worked for DC last summer and asked at the dealership for a discount on parts, because I had to buy a ****load of parts for my E. he then said as a parttimer I wouldn't get the discount anyway and that you would have to work for MB atleast a year to get parts discount and two years for discounts on a car!! It could be much different in the US though!

According to what I have been told, MB employee's cannot receive DEPP pricing on AMG's or S-class models...shoot, they just released the new C-class on DEPP last month.

From what i remember, you dont get a discount as a part timer. but, full time employees get 12.25% off cars..........they also recieve great incentives from time to time on certain vehicles

I spoke to the Sales Manager & employees get 20% off on non-AMG cars. No discounts on AMG cars.

What if your taking in a trade? say a used 2-3 year old AMG then you can get the car for auction price right?

I just came across this with a sales person at buckhead mercedes in ATL. He told me he will get a c63 at the end of the year, cause they don't give out employee discount right now. He told me he'll get 10K-15k off MSRP on the c63 at the end of the year.

gotcha...I know it's not 20% in the US....as for 15k off a C63 at the end of year, I guess we'll just have to see what happens, but I find that to be highly unlikely

One, you have to have years of experience selling cars, to work for benz or BMW.

Two no part timmer discounts, and no 63 discounts.

And bro, selling cars is anything but easy, ask anyone who does it, it really is alot of work and you will be slammed for your profession all the time, by people who think you make too much and your a lier and so on.

On the up side, the cars, and people you meet can be very nice. And if you work at it hard and long you can earn a good living.
