My dealer was telling me that for the 09 C63, the only difference is that it comes with a LSD and that the top speed is maxed at 186. Is he confused? Or are they changing the package for the US?
EDIT: My bad, meant to say for the 09 C63 with the PP package...

C230 W204 with C63 Kit Package
I also have a three-spoke steering and considering to swap with the AMG (bottom-flat) -do I have to change the airbag too? It seems the vertical spoke is shorter due to flat-bottom. Or that's only an illusion?

Is that the carbon fiber interior or the black maple? I understand CF comes with the PP for 09, I was wondering if anyone had a pic of the carbon fiber interior????

NOT the ONLY difference, BUT the BIG difference. I hear that the production date for the PP is late July 08 and on. LSD, Speed limiter higher, steering wheel and brakes. Thats the word on the street.

it cost aprox. $ 7200 and the original (EURO) airbag will fit
i got the correct answer in a couple of week
when im back from Germany to pick up my new car and go to the MB dealer to retrofit the steering wheel.

@Larseau: Appreciate if you can confirm if we can use the original airbag on this AMG steering wheel? I am referring to W204 3-spokes stock steering wheel (with tiptronic flap), the full-round one not AMG's flat bottom, and not the 4-spokes certainly. What you mean as EURO steering wheel?
reason I question if it fits to use MB stock 3 spokes airbag is...I just saw one in UK eBay someone is selling this AMG steering wheel only, but without airbag. The seller confirmed me that the airbag is not swappable by original 3-spokes MB stock. It costs around 275GBP just for AMG steering wheel excl airbag. The airbag will be the most expensive one if you're trying to get, my guess. Not to mention it is not easy to import airbag yourself as it is categorized dangerous goods by package item (airbag has tiny explosive btw). I had an experience in the past for W203/C55 Steering. Cost me extra $$ shipping to bring it home.

i have heard that european markets have other spec. on the airbag

I will be back from Germany in a couple of week
and the AMG Steering wheel is alredey in stock by my MB dealer.
The master mechanic told me it will fit.
so we have to wait and see if this is correct.

. if you just buy the eBay item that is only 534USD. Must be other things there missing there... Anyway, pls share with us your finding. I am excited to hear as I am interested to mod the steering like you'll do.

Yes , I got my car last week but the MB dealer have to order an AMG C63 airbag for retrofit the C63 steering wheel.
He thaught he could use the original airbag fra 3 spoke steering wheel, but i diddent fit..
but i found an car for sale with this 63 teering whell retrofitted
