Got my C63 today. Holy Sh!!!t
The suspension on this car is unreal. I live in the canyons in Los Angeles and pushed the car to it's limits. There are a few long sweepers that I would go 72-78 MPH in the CLK BS, and in the C63 I'm easily hitting 92-96 MPH around the same turns. Granted once the car breaks in, I'm sure it will get better. But for right now, the odometer sits at 32 miles. It could use some more power, but Renntech will take care of that for me. The brakes kick ***, as do the seats. I loved my CLK BS, but I love this one more. The steering wheel rivals the steering wheel from the CLK BS. My hats off to AMG for this one. I will post pics tomorrow.
I have driven both and I own a Black Series, the C63 will not out corner a CLK Black. It just won't, the cars are in two different leagues in the handling department. The C63 is a great car but don't get carried away, enjoy it for what it is.

E92 M3 outcorners it too. Great car the C63, just got to keep it real.
i live up near napa and have been to many track events at infineon raceway, and have seen black series keep pace with 997 gt3's which i was very impressed by, i find it difficult to belive that c63 would be able to do that with all the rear tire slip, if ur driving in sport mode or with esp fully off.
and im not sure about the comment the c63 performance package will be able to keep up wit the m3, i love the c64 way more then the m3, but the m3 is a better suited for the track.... but i could be wrong

The C63 does not have a fully adjustable KW front suspension system. The system is similar and they share a few components but they are far from the same.
Don't buy into the generalizations made by the magazines, they are idiots and they don't have a clue. Yes the C63 is amazing and it handles very well but it is no Black Series.
Just drive the cars, that is all it takes to see the differences. That is why this story is bull to begin with.
A.C63 does not have LSD standard
B. sport package on C63 include LSD, lower suspension & bigger bakes i believe, maybe even different wheels. This effects track performance vastly
C. M3 & clk bs get LSD standard. Hence why the M3 does better in tracks results.
D. F360 does not stand a chance VS a stock E55k and C63 seems to be sporting similar 1/4 numbers. A 550 maranelo loses to, or is neck and neck on the TRACK with an SL55 ...and thats a heavy benz/ not the fastest. In a straight well try it out your self
. M5 has been compared to the F430 a few times to and thats usually compared to the E63 so
. Not saying they are in the same league, but comparable with pros & cons on both ends.and lastly..until you drive both its hard for any one to say anything trying to state facts, when they do not have the seat time to justify it (Track & dyno also help
)

the 430 might just be the most close to perfect car ever built
My dad used to have a 360 Ferrari; i've driven it many times and to be honest i like the c63 way better. We've had SL65s, CLS55s, Aston Martins, and some other nice/fast cars in the family over the last few years, and im really impressed at how this $65K car keeps up to as well as surpasses the others.
I've ripped this car around some fun windy roads already too, and ill also agree that i've never been able to take the turns as fast, or as confidently as with this car.
This car sounds sweet, drives awesome, and for half the cost of other 63 and 65AMGs and a third of the cost of a once new 360 Modena, its got me a believer.
If its better to him than the 360, then so be it!! Thats why baskin Robbins makes 31 flavors!!
I have driven many cars and owned many more - I WOULD NEVER BUY A FERRARI - I think they are super sexy and an incredible machine one of the best greatest machines on earth - but they are horrible to drive in my opinion, They are not fast (stock) the maintenance is way over priced and you cant park then anywhere! this of corse is my personal opinion... I just believe if you own a car drive the shyt out of it, I hear people say you can do that with a Ferrari but come on you would need a new clutch every 2500 miles the way our LA traffic is... truth is my CLS is just as fast and handles just fine for street and canyon driving - when I go to the track I have many other options other than a Ferrari - and to answer the question If you gave me a Ferrari would I take yes to sell or trade but I wouldn't take keep it I would ask if you were giving away anything else in its place like a Lotus - people always put the hi-price cars on a pedestal but don't see the practicality of them - BTW I only have a three car garage and its full with 3 cars and 3 motorcycles and I have 2 cars on the driveway... I wouldn;t move anyone of those for a Ferrari...... Just my opinion!

Finally some sense being spoken here. All the guy said is that he loves the way his C63 handles and all of the sudden Ferrari is in the picture???
