C63 owners- Is there a dead pedal?

...spotted this over at the clk BS forums, and I can assure you I don't have a dead pedal that looks ANYTHING like this. I wouldn't mind having this set-up though.

Well... hmm. All I know is that when I first drove the car, and my left foot went to rest... it found what I would call a dead pedal. Yes, it's only carpet. But my left foot says it's OK!
Here is a pic of the memory seat switches...

And yes -- it has a dipstick!!
So I guess you could call it a "driver footrest", if not a dead pedal.

Hans and etowns! thanks guys, that is exactly what i needed to know, as long that there is a little rest to lean on when cornereing, as asthetics go, its invisible, could probably live with that...Thanks Hans for taking time to take the pics to inform the rest of us, Nick.

It's definitely oil level. Pulled it out and tasted it! 
j/k. Very long dipstick. There is a pic and description in the owner's manual. Also, there is no digital gauge to check it. For grins, I checked the manual to see where to check the tranny fluid. It only says "The transmission fluid does not need to be checked.... see your authorized Mercedes-Benz Center" with no pics. 
I was very happy to see an actual dipstick on the car! Big plus to me with the long oil change intervals.
