Thumbs down Can Someone tell AMG we want Keyless go too?

I just don't get mbusa! Clueless clowns when it comes to things we really want. Just like the post below on the 19"s that are not available here they really missed the boat!

Keyless Go - available on BMW, Nissan, LEXUS. What are these clueless clowns thinking?

It's available for the European version and the Australian version, it's a MBUSA problem only.

Maybe someone in head office was watching "Gone in 60 seconds" and "Sworfish" and realised that any guy can hack a Mercedes with his laptop.

Does anyone remember that thread about people who could hack a Mercedes ?

Not available here in the UK either.

I have enquired with MB.UK if it will be on the 2009 model but no reply as yet.

Something to do with the double locking system being used on this car....

Mark.

Man I am torn between the M3 and C63. The lack of this feature does not help at all...

If this is true, that'll be perfect. Planning to upgrade to a C63 for 2010 and keyless go would be a nice option.

I got a reply from a technical advisor from AMG in Germany (personal phone call...how cool is that!!!)

Keyless go is not an option in the UK due to the twin deadlock system required by the insurance companies here and as such is not compatible with keyless go. There is not really any difference in the vehicle security with the keyless go system but it was a UK insurance requirement. It is not foreseable that this situation will change soon.
The changes to the 2009 model car are:

Deletion of Metallic Grey (can't remember the correct name)
Addition of Tansanite Grey
Addition of AMG Limited Slip Diff only option
P30 performance package

That was about it really, so not much changes.
