I think in a drag race the c63 will probably win but on the track the modded 335 and the modded C63 will be a close race or go to the 335. There is a video by fifth gear of a M3 racing with the C63 and in the track race the M3 won because the C63 just couldn't handle around the corners with all that power so if you add more power the C63 chassis just can't handle it. The M3 just passed the C63 on the inside because the C63 would just drift wide anytime Tiff tried to put the power down.
Check the video out:

Looking at your sig with your drag time I would say probably you did get the right car. Until the 335i has a larger turbo kit available then you should smoke everyone but once these tuners are able to slap a bit larger turbo's than that would be trouble.

There is a modded 335 in Central Florida that runs 12.5 at 111mph on a consistant basis.

WHY WOULD YOU COMPARE A C63 TO A CHIPPED 335???

IF YOU CAN AFFORD A C63, THEN YOU CAN AFFORD AN M3.

IF YOU CAN AFFORD AN M3, WHY THE F**K WOULD YOU BUY A 335??

IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY BY GOING WITH THE 335 AND CHIPPING IT, THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, BUT DONT COMPARE IT TO A C63 AMG.

THAT’S WHAT THE M3's FOR...

You know what i have read a lot of this bull**** on this thread, actually i read every page. This just f**king hurts my head to see how STUPID this entire thing is.

1. C63 is the better car.
2. You guys are trying to compare two different categories.. apples and chicken. (Not even close to the same thing)
3. The 335 stock doesn't have a chance against a C63 stock. end of story
4. Hypothetical for every goddamn situation.. you might as well say.. "yeah well my motorcycle can beat a Veyron 0-60 or 1/4 mile.

Its stupid as f**k

If that were the case tho, noone would race. We'd all just say my car is faster than yours on paper.

Where's the fun in that

Your worst nightmare...
Has any one heard of SGC's C63 running 11.5's at 120...crazy...I think it's on drag times. I believe it has headers, ECU, airbox and slicks. The little car is moving.
Edit...here is the link...

Stop comparing stock vs tuned because that's unfair.
Stop comparing tuned vs tuned because in the end, the person with the most $$$ will win in tune vs tune scenario.

So that leaves us with stock vs stock.

There is only one way to find out then....why not get one of the many C63 owners with a stock car and I am sure there will be many 335's up for the challenge. It's pretty easy to find out the answer. If I had either car I would have love to participate in this little challenge. lol!

Stock to stock c63 would kill it. Stock c63 with a tuned 335 chip only the 335 would win depending on what chip u get of tune. Now a tuned c63 to a tuned only 335 the c63 would win. But if a tunes only c63 races a best jb3 tuned and hooked up to the t 335 what's the outcome? That's what we tring to find out

Not sure a 335 with chip only can beat a c63. I've beaten a 335 with JB3, intercoolers, downpipes and all with a stock C63 ... but that's in hot weather so maybe i got the advantage of NA.

Even if piggy back tuners turn to ECU flashes.. seems like you will have to keep updating your ECU with so many updates. Unless you have a tuner nearby.. its going to be a pain.

The tunning of the N54 will go on.. but it has definately lost some steam.

There will be modded N54, but not as before.
ding ding ding, you hit the nail right on the head.

Also, you guys need to think about what the conditions might be. From a roll I believe the C63 would win, as in the midrange the C63 tq numbers are quite nice, and would not be suffering so much from the additional weight from a stop light race. Owning a 335i, I know the limitations of the platform, and the potential of the C63.

The point of comparing the 335i tuned with stock tuned c63 is because the stock 335i tuned with a chip is still cheaper than a c63 stock.
It really should come out to best handling and fastest car for your money with about the same luxury etc. I mean can't compare a neon srt to a C63 but 335i and a C63 luxury wise is comparative. Shure a tuned c63 would beat a tuned 335i but how much is that going to cost? Some one said it is stupid to compare a 335i with the C63 and it should be compared with the M3. Well if you really want the best and fastest car than it is a heavily tuned 335i than an M3. This coming from the BMW guys, and I agree because the 335i would have much more torque than a M3. The M3 has no torque at all you have to rev it like a S2000 and still at slow speeds the hp won't matter until you get to higher speeds. This is the reason to compare a 335i tuned to a C63 instead of a M3. Why would anyone just look at the price of the stock cars?
And if you look at the latest edition of C&D with the luxury car comparo you will see the FI cars is where its at these days not the NA engines.

Hmmm I would be able to conduct this test myself since I have both cars (well at least until I ship the 335 off to my friend). My 335 has the following mods: JB3 1.3, Helix IC, UR DP back exhaust, helene filter, coils, 19" iforged wheels, etc.

Only problem is my C63 only has 75miles....

Perhaps I can get my friend up the street w/ a C63 PP to do a couple runs....hmmmm

As far as my opinion, the 335 may be able to keep up if not be ahead until 110-115mph then the C63 would start to make up ground.
