What mods will not void warranty?
Sorry guys it might be a stupid question but wat kind of mods will not vod warranty on the c63 engines.

If Mercedes can prove that the modification that you performed caused damage to the engine or whatever part it is that failed, your warranty would be voided.

Note! If a modification is found by the dealer and they question you about it or want to charge you for the repair, it is best to be compliant. Seeing as they are the people capable of changing your vehicle to a Status 8.

I have seen significant modifications that have caused things to fail. The customer was notified that the repair was going to be customer pay, and the customer paid without a fuss. There was no status change on the vehicle due to his compliant behavior.

I have also seen very minor modifications that were related to a component failure, but the customer wanted to raise hell and be a pain in evryones a$$. His vehicle was subsequently changed to Status 8.

BMW driving school might void your warranty, but I'm pretty sure AMG school won't.

I know of several owners who have used non-MB wax and window cleaners without voiding their powertrain warranty at my local dealership
