Did you get the split-folding rear seats?

Maybe I am mistaken about her weight, she sits comfortably in my BMW 330. She is slightly larger than the seat.

Thanks,

George

sorry but I would never have any female over 300lbs sit on my leather. My sister took her driver license test in her 2003 bmw 330 a couple years ago, the instructor was so jealous of her being 16 now 18 driving that kind of car. She failed her and note to mention she ****ed up the seat being about 6'4 and about 260lbs for a black female...

Thanks,

This thread is taking an interesting turn....

George the issue for your passenger will not just be the side bolsters, but the seat bottom bolsters on each side are high, and maybe not wide enough. There will certainly be some compromise on entry/exit (you kind of have to hop over them to avoid crushing them on your way in and out of the car)

Of course she will fit... but the seat probably won't like it. Then again, seats don't talk and assistants do....

If it was a car that was special ordered and they could not sell it in a day that would be different and I would not expect to get my deposit back. When I ordered the car back in October I was told that the deposit was 100% refundable because they were going to have a waiting list for the car anyway. You can take your smart car comment and stick it where the sun does not shine. Looks like you are just a smart ***. Don't understand what your problem is? Everyone has their own opinion on what is comfortable is to them. I test drove the car and did not love it. Over and done.
Easy tiny, everyone is keyboard and phone tough. Better watch who you think you are talking to. I was making a comment which was stated IMHO. So stop being a little baby and take some of the advice, suggestions or comments that senior members on this board make. Stop being a douche.

You think your vette seats are the greatest in the world. Great, your opinion. Most of the members on here who have owned F cars, P cars, and multiple AMG cars, me included, tend to think your being a tad silly because of the "seats". But hey, thats your "opinion". What I said, was had I special ordered a car from my dealer, whom even though I've spent 500k with them on MB's, they would have made me eat my deposit should I decide to cancel because I didn't like the seats. So listen up. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Yes, you must IMMEDIATELY cancel your C63 order because your administrative assistant is fat.

What are we coming to when you have to call somebody who is 300lbs "a little on the heavy side?" Enough with the PC crap, 300lbs isn't just fat it's unhealthly obese. Pussfooting around it doesn't help anybody.

Is it just plug and play? If I ran a dealership, I would offer this up as a dealer option.
I'll trade mine. Car only has 700 easy miles on it. We'll make 'em fit.

I know I had to be politically correct. I am sure she knows she is obese, but she can't help it, she has a serious glandular problems. I am not sure if I will have a problem with my car. I am 5 8 180, very fit. I bought the car listening to you guys, which I think is the best way to go, given the serious brains we have on this forum.

Thank you,

George

The only bad thing about the SL is that your $66k will depreciate @ a faster rate, than purchasing the C63....

The 06 SL55 is actually a good buy. It has lost it's major depreciation whereas the C63 depreciation is on you. Try to negotiate a CPO.

The C63 will feel a little more responsive due to the speed shift 7g tranny verus the 5 speed.

The 55 is a little quicker off the line due to the torque and a tenth or so faster in the quarter mile.

It's a tough decision. Good Luck.

The seat feel good but in my opinion they should be somewhat like the Audi S5 seats which is much more comfy and racing at the same time, it feels tigh and wider as well.

All Mercedes Benz depreciate in fast mode.

Especially here in Puerto Rico, you pay an 40% TAX on new cars and when you are going to resale all Taxes are removed and not counted. So you can imagine a Sl550 goes for $150,000 the resale is around $100,000 to $115,000 with 2-5k miles and if it has more it can come down another 10% to 15% off.
