Evosport 2-piece Rotors for CLK63 BS
Hot off the production line, we just released our 2-piece REAR compound discs for the W209 CLK63 Black Series (also fits rear CLK63, CLK55 and SLK55). Made to compliment the factory 2-piece fronts and replace the heavy 1-piece rears. Shaves 10 lbs of unsprung weight! Comes drilled/slotted, black anodized aluminum hat to match the fronts and, unlike the factory front and rear, our discs vent the correct way left and right.

An Absolutely AWESOME product, but how much performance could one expect by removing 10lbs of unsprung weight?

That weight removed up front would be even more beneficial. But it's not just the weight that helps. On a 2-piece rotor with a floating hat, the rotor can dissipate heat much more effectively and mitigate brake fade to a greater extent.

Great, another bit of information MB fails to tell you. MB offers a brake up grade and only does half the job.

Not to rain on your parade any more but even the 2-piece fronts that they offer on the Black Series, any 030/PP package, etc...have ONE part number that fit either Right or Left. Since the rotors are directionally & internally vented, and since there's only one part number, one side of the car will always be venting air the wrong/least effective direction...go figure. I'm sure this is done so they only have to cast one rotor, not two for production costs. But they still charge $900+ a rotor!

And yes, our rotors all have a specific Right and Left application so that the venting direction is always correct. This does make the drill pattern go the opposite direction that the stock rotor goes on one side of the car.

Just installed the rear rotors.
The quality is excellent and readily apparent to the discerning owner.

Simon, when can we pre-order the fronts..?
