Are there xenon bulbs avail for fog lamps?
Does anyone know or has anyone thought of changing the stock bulbs on the foglamps to xenon bulbs, the blue hue with the factory xenon headlamps would look so much better,. If anyone would know where i can begin to look for this, thanks as always to the gang here.

Hella H7 Bulbs...Essentially look for H7 fog lamp bulbs, most tuner stores have them, but not necessarily in stock because these are the top tier bulbs in terms of light displacement...not many manufacturers use them apart from Mercedes.
However, I used to use them a lot to change out my regular bulbs and the only problem is that they burn too hot..
This can lead to two potential problems, or both, as I have experienced on my three previous ML's and now on my current E-Class...
1 - Burning/Cracking/Bubbling of fog lamp lens
2 - Burning through the wiring harness as a result of high heat ( I had to do this on my E recently and it was $125/side for just the part, and
believe me, it's nothing more than two wires and a connector at the end, but its is still $125....
Hope this helps you make up your minds!

you DO realize that yellow light - in fact pure yellow - is best on fogs right?
Putting blue xenon in there is akin to putting armor all on your smooth tires - because it looks pretty.

That's exactly the point for those of us who don't need the functional use of the fog lights.

You need to get the digital h.i.d kit. If you use the regular ones the driver side foglight wont turn on. you gotta get H7 but still need to modiy them to get it installed. i got my fog lights and high beams with h.i.d.
