How long after build date should my C63 arrive at my Dealer in the US (New York)

How long after build date should my C63 arrive at my Dealer in the US (New York)

Just curious to get your opinions on the lag between build and delivery.

2009 AMG C63

The historic response to this question is 30 days. BUT, I had a 8/20 build date and my dealer called this morning to say the car would be available to pick up on Friday (9/5), so it seems like MB may be a little ahead of schedule or my build date was reported to me incorrectly.

it only takes 30 days for the car to be built and to get delivered to the dealership?

I was at MB US Military car sales yesterday here in Germany and I was told it would take 8-10 weeks from start to finish (pick up)

I am in Colorado. My actual build date was 8/15, my car cleared US customs 9/4, at Baltimore on 9/5, due at the dealership 9/11 or 9/12. Custom orders are shipped to the dealerships (i.e. taken off the ship and prioritized) sooner than normal inventory vehicles.
