Pics: Nitto 285/35 DRs on the C63
In preparation for track testing the ECU/TCU tuning I threw some Nitto DRs on today. God I wish we had wider wheels but they fit well enough to gain me some traction. It rained this morning which is why the car is so dirty, please excuse that aspect.
Thanks
Thanks

Wow, you fit 285s on the stock 9" wide rims! I was recommended not to even go with 275s, but I suppose these have a single purpose in mind
I wanted to put the Bridgestone RE-01Rs on, but in 19" they only come in 245/19 and 275/19, so I went ahead and ordered the RE050A Pole Positions in 235/19 and 265/19. I won't hook up anything like you though haha. I wish there were more options in 19" sizes.
Can't wait for your results!

NITTOS run Extremely narrow compared to all other tires, that is why they fit with no issues.

Hurry up! They are getting a white C63 in stock in the next couple of weeks and Im trying to twist my arm into picking one up.

i also had a bmw 545i with sport pkg and the rims were 8.5 in front and 9 in rear and stock the car had 245 front 275 rear. thats good. but i asked to do 285 and i was toled that they would flex on turns. so i put 275 great.

I think a got a great deal for the tire package.. $855 for 5yrs
What did the tints cost you? I may get it done at MB but I think it will be $300 and do you think 20% sound right for tints without it being too dark?
Also Lojack $600

Unless you drive around alot of gravel trucks bad highways, I'd say Not to get the Bra. But then its your choice in the end , so I'd say go check one out. It leaves a nice line across your hood....

Really? who had a bad experience that you know? She quoted me $289.00 life time Guaranteed, I've also seen some of the tint work done on New c's in the dealer lot... I'm not going to go nuts with it, I'll pickup my car complete end of story.... BTW... Just a few minutes I received conformation for a business trip to the South Hampton's in Oct.... YeeHaa Guess how I'm getting there?

As other enthusiast on this forum had mentioned, enjoy the car as is and when you see it becoming a problem noticeable marks just get it re-finished. The cost for a clear Bra will be close or about the cost of a front nose paint job...

Do a custom clear bra with a high-end application shop. I dropped my C63 off today for a full front nose wrap (full hood, full front fenders, etc) as well as some other areas I noticed may need it. The 3M applications look pretty bad on a lot of cars that I have seen... Premier (http://www.premiermobilegroup.com/) is doing our car.
I was very pleased to walk in this morning to them wrapping another C63 (white/black) when we arrived. They had just finished an M5 and were also working on a Porsche GT3 RS, all of which looked awesome. I selected the shop based on a stellar review out of the E55 forum here, as well as some other forums on the net. I can suggest that you look at a few different shops and see their work before deciding for or against the protective films.
