My drive from Scottsdale to SoCal

So, I used my drive from Scottsdale to SoCal to:

- To authorize my mobile phone and get it to talk to MB Bluetooth
- Manually send each of the mobile phone contacts I wanted in the car sent to MB Bluetooth
- Use the windshield wipers for the first time!
- Learn all the light switches and sunroof operation

Now, all I have to do is program my gate and garage remotes. The phone part was a pain at first (calling Verizon technical support, reading the manual, etc.), but once it was setup - it's SWEET! I love it.

I also kicked it slightly passing someone and the car went from 80 to 110, like it was nothing. I can't imagine having the guts to floor the car for 30-45 seconds on the highway...

Lastly, I no longer hit the cruise control lever any time I want to signal - although it took awhile. I also use the cruise control instinctively which is fun once you get used to the car.

I got 900 miles on the car before the mods started. It was a 5-1/2 drive.

Ugh...I have UFC 88 DVR'ed but I haven't yet watched it yet. I suppose you could mean that Chuck was knocked out our Rashad was knocked out.

I'll have to watch it tonight.

If you like MMA, how do you DVR a UFC event and not watch it right away... I'm on so many of the MMA websites, that I would have to watch it or I would know the results right away...

My car will be done at VRP tomorrow around lunch...

It takes a lot of patience. Normally I do watch them right away, but my schedule was pretty booked the past few days. I just went cold turkey--keeping myself away from any info on MMA.

BTW, finished watching it tonight and that was an absolute bomb that Evans dropped on Lidell. Amazing.

We're big MMA fans and get every fight. I was so disappointed as I still think Evans is a no-talent and was very lucky.
