I Got My VIN Number Today
I got my VIN number today from the dealer. We're looking at an early November delivery.
Are there any Web sites that I can enter the VIN number into and get the info on the car?
How exciting to think that my car was "born" on International Talk Like A Pirate Day. That's just cool.

Didn't realize anyone would need hand holding....
Open first link and click "Auto Cargo". Enter VIN in the Cargo ID.
All Manufactures use the VIN to track.
Once you have the Vessel name open second link. Enter Ships Name in the bottom space and you can track the ship on the voyage over, Port by Port and open sea's as well.

Hey Thanks, but you didn't have to hold my hand that tight...
BTW...The first link worked well, I did get to see port of origin, vessel name and departure date... I went to the second link put in the vessels name came up with nada nothing. IT looks like there is No track position for vessel "TAIKO" the last track for this vessel was in Jan...

My car will be finished with production on Sept 24th. I should know by the end of this month the exact ship date.

Per my dealers stats, they show it as Sept. 22nd, Monday for dock arrival in Baltimore. Then it needs to be trucked to NJ which will be a 2 to 3 hr drive from Baltimore. I was advised full delivery turnover by Weds 9/24... We'll see I guess. The weather here looks clear for next week
Kind of envious....Mine is still 5 weeks away.

Yeah it kinda is, if you've read my previous post with my other horror of a dealer story that I was with for the past 5 months and nearly got screwed at the end but the joke was on them when I pulled the rug from under neath them. I had a back-up car coming in (which i didnt know that it was still on its way) from the NJ dealer....
