MKB Performance Products
Good Evening,
I am looking at ordering the MKB Performance Package Stage 2 kit. They show great performance numbers of 567HP. Do any of you have any experience with this company or know anything about them?

BMW 330i - C63 on order.
Very expensive. I live in the UK and they quoted the equivalent of US $6100 for the ECU upgrade and nearly US $17500 + installation costs for the stage 2 conversion (ECU+manifolds+downpipes). In addition they have no UK dealer so I'd have to send my car abroad. I am looking elsewhere.

E63 biturbo
MKB have very close links with AMG and I was told they even tune the Black Series for them. I also enquired about the C63 mods with my dealer and he actually BAULKED at the price of the ECU tune ...
Its almost 2 times the price of a Bentley CGT tune!

As others have said, very high quality, but very expensive. I remember years ago when they were tuning ECU and TCU modules for the E55... and could have been the first to update the TCU modules amongst the big tuners.
Cheaper alternative would be VRP.

On one side, I think you are over-paying, but on another note, I'm glad that somebody is going to do it and report the results.
Daniel's office is just 30 minutes from my home in Oregon. He was very helpful when I spoke to him, but the cost and the logistics of removing your ECU and shipping it to Germany, was enough to pursue other options.

Yes guys - that is my car running the 11.6 and 11.7 @ 122mph on the DragTime video's.
Just to clarify, you don't have to send the ECU to Germany. Daniel does it here in the states. His direct e-mail is danielb@mkb-power-na.com.
It is expensive but so far gives good results. Good luck racing!!
Happy New Year!!
God Bless,
Keith
