How are you driving it? What gear? WOT? Little old lady from Pasadena? Etc.

Don't you think you should expand on that questions?

no it's these japanese pills that you drop in your gas tank, it gives you extra mileage on each tank of gas, but you have to buy the pill each time

The Keyless go push button slips over the key / ignition switch. If keyless go doesn't work b/c it doesn't detect the key in the car then you can pop the button off and insert the key into the ignition and start the car like you would in a car without Keyless go. The button actually looks kind of cheap - I don't believe it was worth the $1,100 or so I paid.

I've gone 500 km on a single full tank of gas, all highway, non-stop, in 7th gear manual mode.

Lets just say the $10 pill does work...if you can afford this car why you scrounging out on gas? On top of that I don't know about anywhere else but from LA to SD gas is around $3.07-$3.20ish. $10 dollar pill EVERYTIME you pump a full tank of gas then you would have to get at least 3.5 gallons out of it which roughly estimates to around 30-50 miles depending on how you drive. Btw that's just breaking even. Is it honestly worth it?

Thats pretty impressive. I was thinking about going on a roadtrip & was wondering how efficient the car was on highway roads

I get a tad over 300 miles when I drove back from New Orleans on the highway averaging more than 70 mph.
I get a tad over 200 miles before light comes on in town.
I don't drive my car like I stole it but I do not drive it like Grandma either. Spirited driving when necessary otherwise regular driving (in S mode).

It fared extremely well, to be honest. I managed the 500 km on the single tank of fuel without babying it at all. During the entire 1,000 km trip, I passed every single car that I came across as if it was standing still. The key thing, it would seem, is making sure you're in Manual mode in 7th gear.

Have fun on your road trip!
