C63 with HRE rims, 20" maybe? 5% tint, white.

followed me in my 335i coupe tonite for about a mile on the highway 3am, came around me wanted to cut in front of me, but wasnt enough room, went behind me again and the second time u tryed to get around me, i took the bate, and floored it, walked the C63 by 2 cars by the end just about, good run man!
i have JB3 with a K&N drop in running 100 octane from friday nite runs.
btw, my 335i can outrun my E55 on the highway, pretty much walk it.

My wifes car is a 08 335i and it could be using Avgas and its not going to be faster than the C63. Maybe the OP is using (drnking) Avgas
its a 160 hp short and 140 torques short

paulgt3, he had a JB3 piggyback tune on it and it weighs about 500-600 pounds less. he could very well have beat the c63

When you can go to a track and race in the proper format and beat somebody then you have something to talk about. This is at the 13 year old level. Actually my 13 year old is more mature than this post and the replies.

It's not out of the question for a tuned 335i to be able to outrun a c63. As amazing as it may seem there actually do exist cars that can go faster than the c63. And seriously calling bs cuz the guy can tell what rims a car has while its moving at night? Yeah cuz no one can tell what rims look like when they're spinning so fast!!!! I mean its not like they have a distinguishable pattern especially when someone has probably seen a set of the same rims in some other setting where the wheels were both in motion and stopped. Heaven forbid someone is able to actually make a long term mental connection to determine a general appearance of wheels on a car. Guy must be a genious!


On top of that I like how paulGT3 pulls out the old take it to the track adage. Yeah people take their cars to the track.. hell I've taken my old wrx and cls55 to the track more often than I can remember. But by no means is that some sort of excuse to lambaste a guy who most likely walked a c63 with his modded 335i just because he had a quick impromtu blast on the highway.


Sure he's got pretty ****ty spelling but the same can be said about most of the regulars I've seen while lurking this forum. People need to stop putting so much stock in racing kill stories and straight line races. Yeah they're fun and all but there are a variety of other factors in a real world situation, and surprisingly there's more to the c63 than just straight line performance. But if it all helps you guys sleep better at night you can continue living your mediocre lives.

I don't care who you are...there is doubt created when you can call out wheel design and window tint % in no light conditions. The modded 335 may certainly have been faster that night tho.

But i guess that works if they took all the lights off every single highway in North America... yeah that no-lighting conditions works fine. It's not that hard to tell if a car has tinted windows.

Here's a protip if the window pretty much completely black and you can't see the driver/passengers that's probably somewhere 90%+ if its barely noticeable probably that would be a lower number.... I dunno.. gasp i shouldn't guess people might think I'm some sort of psychic wizard for using basic skills of deduction!

Considering a tuned 335 can take the 09 cts-V 95% the way on the strip it's not exactly a stretch to say it can take on a stock c63 with possibly heavier than stock HRE wheels.

I didn't say "I don't care who YOU are". I meant that it doesn't matter who you are or how much you may know, but with limited light conditions you can't say "5%" or "15%" or even "28%" for that matter. "Tinted" is one thing, but to identify the % tint without light is just guessing, big time. All I'm saying is that don't stretch the facts of what you see cause you can create doubt about everything else you say. And where do you get the info about walking the CTS-V??

I said the juicebox stg1 modded 335 walked a factory engineer driven 09 cts-V for about 90% of the 1/4 mile during the last 10% the V pulled past the 335.. there's a vid posted in the cts-V 12.6 wtf thread.

The 335i in this post apparently has a stage3. With over 80 hp to the wheels using previous knowledge its not out of the question for it to have bested the c63 in the OP's scenario.

I had an 08 335 Coupe, JB3 - UR Downpipes, Exhaust and Intake. While it was VERY fast....I still prefer my C63 over the beamer...The BMW's turbo's would spool up and it would be a rush of power. Whereas the C..is just power constantly. I haven't taken the C over 100mph yet..but I did with the BMW. I am not saying the BMW can't beat the C...but it is pretty childish to come into another forum, searching for someone to say , "oh hey, I burned you" Who cares. Here are pics of the BMW..

This is complete My cousin has a 335i very modded. NO waaay in hell that thing is faster then the C63. Matter a fact when my friend got his C63 4 weeks ago we all went to the track. My cousin gutted his interior and trunk and still lost but large proportions.

No way in hell your car would 'walk' a C63 or E55 for that matter.


Let me ask you this ... since your car hit the track on Friday and you have that 'left over' race fuel. What times did you run? Quarter mile or 1/8th?

385 is on the low side...especially if not stock. Stock E55s are usually around 410. Mine with just ECU and Filters is 440.

Just to clear some things up. i wasnt at a track, it was some runs i had with a few friends, closed course.

im not here to defend myself, as many of you seem to be on the defensive.
a V3 with DP, FMIC walked a E55 on this forum, stock exhaust, stock intake pump gas. i forgot the members name, ill find the thread later. this V3 makes about 380WHP, the intake restricting it and the stock exhaust system w/ pump gas.

i make more WHP on JB3 with 100 octane.

I also had a 2007 335i, JB2, KWV1, Alcon BBK, etc. It was a real nice ride. I would like to know how the C63's paint compares to the BMW's. I was extremely unhappy with the BMW paint, ie. orange peel and soft finish. Is the C63's paint smoother, harder, better? I remember something about nano technology paint on Mercedes Benz cars is that still true? Thanks for the info.

for the record, and i'm not showing bias, i have read that a jb3 with 100 octane can trap at least 110+ if not more on e90post

I have a stock E55 AMG and I lost to 2 335i's both modded. I lost to a 335 coupe V3 with downpipes, FMIC and just this past thursday I lost to a JB3 335i sedan with FMIC, downpipes, intakes, and it was running on 100 octane. These DAM cars are FASTER then a E55 and C63 stock no question about it. I also raced a 1994 Nissan sentra with big *** turbos who I only beat by 1 car. It is what it is.

I'm the one who raced these guys with V3 and Jb3. I still thought I could beat them but that wasnt the case. The V3 coupe I raced like 10 times with same results. The Jb3 I raced twice. I do think from a dig the gap would be closer then from a roll thats for sure but I would still lose.
