Tried it, but no luck...can't get the options to copy music from (audio) DVD. The manual says it can only be done via audio CD???? So, when I go to Music Register once and again, everything is grayed out except for HDD Info (which indicates no files and 100% of 6GB HDD is available).
Or you can try to PM the original author, as I don't even own a W204...

I uploaded my music files to a SanDisk SDHC card (mp3) and have a SanDisk PCMIA adapter plugged into the car, but my Comand screen says when trying to read the SD card-
"There are no files available"
The songs are organized into folders by artist first, album second.
Any help?

I burned all my music to dvd's and still have a slot free on my changer for future music files.
Although I have a pcmcia card I dont use it anymore, as i have all my music in my cd changer.

Update this old thread
Got an Iconnect PCMIA adapter $9.99 and 4-gig Kingston Compact Flash card $21.00 @ Fry's. Works great. I like the speed it switches between the folders and not having to wait for CD's to load. Might try a 16-gig

I don't know about SDHC cards, but can attest that CF cards will work even at higher capacities. I am currently using a 32GB CF card (Kingston) with an adapter that came with an Epson photo printer and have about 25GB of music on the card and can access all of it.

Just bought the i-connect PCMCIA Compact Flash reader ($9.99) and an 8GB Kingston Compact Flash Card ($34.99) from Frys.
The PCMCIA card fits in the dash perfectly flush and when inserted, the CF card sits flush also. It works wonderfully. Only issue is the slow initial load "Reading Memory Card" each time I start the car.

I have the same setup. Transferred my iTunes from my Mac over to the 8 gig card. Music on the card but told "Can not Read" in the car. Trying to figure this out. Dealer has no clue.
