My takes on C63 Compare to M3 & GT-R
C55 (7) vs. E46 M3 (8)
C55 at the time
Comfort - 8 out of 10
Seat - 5 out of 10
Handling - 6 out of 10
Power - 9 out of 10
Look (subjective) 6 out of 10
Overall - 7 out of 10
E46 M3 at the time
Comfort - 6 out of 10
Seat - 8 out of 10
Handling - 9 out of 10
Power - 7 out of 10
Look (subjective) 8 out of 10
Overall - 8 out of 10
I pickup my C63 early September and she have been sitting in the garage for weeks. I finally had the time to take her out for a lovely drive. This past weekend was ideal; the weather is awesome in Chicago. So, I rack her up to 1000 miles and I have very good idea what she capable of.
C63
Comfort - 4 out of 10 – Every uneven pavement turn into a pothole.
Seat - 9 out of 10
Handling - 6 out of 10
Power - 9 out of 10
Look (subjective) 7 out of 10 - Don't like the back end
Overall - 7 out of 10
M3
Comfort - 9 out of 10 - Surprisingly comfortable
Seat - 8 out of 10
Handling - 9 out of 10
Power - 8 out of 10
Look (subjective) 6 out of 10 - Look just like a regular 3 series
Overall - 9 out of 10
C63 improvement over C55 - 4 out of 10
E92 M3 improvement over E46 M3 - 8 out of 10
GTR - Wow!! What a car!!! Better than both C63 & M3 combine; that is a under statement.
Two reasons I didn't get the GTR or M3
1. I'm not going pay extra $20K-$30K for GTR
2. Just plain silly to have two 3 series; still in love with my 335i coupe

Its more than $20k for the GTR. When the tranny blows and you have to replace it because Nissan isnt going to cover it thats ANOTHER $20K
Nissan stopped production yeserday You are lucky you werent one of the
world wide Guinea pigs
Another BIG advantage of the C63 over the GTR
the C63 requires 1000 miles to get Broke in
the GTR needs 1000 miles to be just BROKE!
(and costing you another $20K)
Car and Driver bought one and it has spent 14 days of the first 30 days of
ownership. Clearly its a product not ready for consumers. Unless you want to be part of the Quality and Assurance department of Nissan.

Nice pics, I need do the same when I have some time...
I'm not too sure I agree with all of your ratings re: the C55, C63, and M3s - they're ALL subjective. So, to each his own! I also considered the new M3, but it's the C63's engine and badass factor that helped me decide on the upgrade.
I see you also considered the GT-R, as did I. (Actually, I still have one on order for the past 6 months lol). After all the hype and hububb over the GT-R, I'm thinking it's just a novelty. Sure, it out-drives most normal driver's abilities and most sports cars. It was a legend even before it has been able to prove itself. But, now it's longevity is brought into question and it doesn't even have a proven long-term record as of yet in the every day world or racing/on the track.
Plus, paying over sticker for ANY car is just plain retarded.

Beemaze, I believe you are one of the first to have a capri blue C63! Please post pics dirty or clean, doesn't matter as I haven't been able to find any pics of a blue C63.
Thanks!
