Latest Lease Numbers On 2009? Anyone here get into lease recently?
Of course the porsche lease numbers suck, but I expect mercedes to do better than the recent numbers i have seen.
I generally like to go with short term 24 month to 30 month leases.. don't mind spending a little more.
Anyone have the current money factor and residuals?
with the current financial situation that they would have GREAT financing
and leasing numbers. BMW has some great deals right now. .9% for M3s!
Their lease #s are the best. Why MB doenst use those kind of numbers is beyond me.

Usually there are lease specials on the website, but you won't find them on the amg series...
How does leasecompare work.. they do all the work for you and find the car?
If you have the program such as ileasemycar for iphone, you can calculate the numbers your self... I generally work down the price for the car as if i'm going to buy it cash and then I hit the dealer with the lease numbers I want...
Donkey I realize that its just either way BMW has good numbers for you to buy or lease. I would have bought the M3 at .9%. I paid cash for the AMG there was no other way to do it since MB numbers suck for leasing or financing.
The best deal I could find on an M3 Sedan loaded, manual, was $6k down and $900/mo.
Mercedes wouldn't even budge on C63. $5k down and $1100/mo.
I went with a loaded 335i. I am very happy with the car. A$$holes at MB Financial wanted $100 more a month for me to keep my C55.
BMW is definetly a different drive than the C55. If your hand moves an inch in the BMW the car is changing lanes.
P.S. This was in the DC area.

My wife has a loaded 335 too it was 49K on the sticker. One thing that BMW has is TRUNK money. I found this loaded 335i (titanium silver over dakota grey leather) and it had been on the lot for 120 days. Why no one bought it I have no clue. However BMW gave the dealer like 5K to get rid of it. I was able to get that car for almost 3500 under invoice. So if you have a good enough relationship with your dealer ask them which cars they have trunk money for.
Its a great way to go.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I really like the c63, but wouldn't pay over $1100 per month for it.
I'll keep shopping and see what is the best deal for me at the time my current lease is up
MB never pushed extremely cheap leasing as heavily as BMW and that is why MB's write off was less than half of the one BMW had. Its easy to see it happening. You can get 10k off you lease buy out with a phone call. Thats ends up costing them a ton of cash over time.
Once inventory falls a bit and the production cuts create less supply pricing will start to slowly go up. This is their plan at least.
Now with BMW you can do what they call multiple security deposits (MSD) and thereby lower your money factor to nearly zero. These deposits come back to you in whole at the end of the lease but they function as a interest buy down. When you do the math you end up saving far more than you could ever earn on the money in the same time. Its a great system and most dealerships or finance managers have no clue about the system.
Each deposit is equal to one payment. So you can do up to 5 deposits but unlike the down payment you get all that cash back in full at the end of your lease.
MB does not offer such a system.

For those that are unfamiliar with what happens when you turn in a lease here is the process.
1. Turn car into dealer
2. Delaer decides if they want to buy the car.
3. If they do not it goes to auction.
I tapped a suburban at 10 mph and did 10k damage i.e. no clean car fax. The dealer was not going to buy my car. I told MB this. They knew the car would go to auction and they would lose money. Instead of selling the car to a loyal customer and keeping them happy they decided to let the car go to auction.
Hence I’m in a BMW now. Although the c63 is a beast!
