2009 C63 AMG
Debadge
I've got an appt today with a body shop to remove the badging from my C63. I've seen a couple of them done this way and I think I like it. I like the mystery that it will give the car. Fortunately, in my town, I haven't seen any C63's on the road. I like it that way too:-)
If you have a C63 with no badging on the bumper, would you be so kind and post a pic to this thread for me?
Please and thank you.

I guess I don't understand debadging. Seems to me you want people to know you have a C63....
Many people might just look at it as a MB......but you have a C63....a true beast. I guess I'd want the world to know it and see me in the car.

You look like some of those posers who debadge their C230 or the bimmer guys like the 323i gang who debadge themselves. Sorry, dont mean to offend, just my very honest opinion.

Was that for me? If so....naw, dude....you got the wrong guy. My comment was not pointed to anyone. I just don't know why would you want one of many mystery cars out there when you are riding in a pure beast/monster. In that case, people who don't know might go...."Yeah, that was just one of those C Class Benz" No....wrong answer....its an AMG Beast.

crazy thing is that where im from, a bunch of posers cant wait to glue that AMG badge on their C-Class. when i went to L.A. complete opposite, people with AMG badges.....gone! i do agree tho its clean, and the best way to let others know you have an AMG is to let them hear that exhaust when you pass them.....

Great feedback from everyone! Thank you.
I debadged it last night and i'm very happy with the results. I like the mystery. Only the true MB fans will no what im driving now. It looks so clean and I didn't realize how easy it was to take the badges off. So easy in fact, the badges are kind of cheap in my opinion. Anyway, I'll post some pics soon.

not to get to off topic but you guys are funny i drive a C300 and its not debadged. some of you need to deflate your heads, its to much ego in this room. Just because you have a C300/C350 or a C63 does't make you better than the next guy. If you want to debadge go ahead it has nothing to do with anything but, its about how you like your car to look. The C63 is a nice car sounds good and is a powerful beast, im personally not a fan of debadging but if you think the car looks cleaner then thats what you like.

I hate to tell you this dude, but the AMG C63 is a very special car. Its so special that I had no problem selling my Porsche GT3 and putting my butt in the AMG. That doesnt make me a better person than you- or you than me. But I would have NEVER gone Porsche-less for a straight up C Class. The AMG is a TOTALLY different car. It MAY be the best bang for your buck in the auto world. Its better than any car in the class or any car around the class.
I could have had a 07 Black Series or a F car or lots of cars but this AMG, this C63 is all around the best punch for your penny I drove.
The normal C-class is a competitor for a Toyota Camry, an Audi A4 or what ever you want to name in that compact class. The AMG C63 can take on most cars in the performance world, including a Ferrari. Thats pretty special.

I don't know why you guys are hating on the idea of debadging. I don't need to show off that I drive an AMG. Personally, I bought mine for the speed/handling/braking characteristics and not for the status. I could care less if people think I have an entry level E-Class or C-class in this instance, but there's no way in hiding the massive brakes, quad exhaust, and blistering speed of our cars. The sleeper effect and cleaner look is why I'm a fan of debadging.
