Powerchip flash ECU done (Best Bang For Your Bucks)
Just have my ECU flash by Powrchip their Head office is in Melbourne Australia about five minutes from where I live. This is my third car done by them.
It take them around an hour to do the flash, and it cost me AUS $2490, I think is the best Bang for Your Bucks.
If you guys have droven a M3 E46 with the sport button on, now my C63 just feels like that, the throttle is a lot more responsive (a lot lot better than the Sprint Booster which I have brought, try and uninstall), and the car pulls a lot harder from 3,500rpm to 6,000rpm, power you can really feel. Because of the extra torque and power the car feels a lot lighter. For this amount of money spend and the time it takes for the flash (only an hour), I think this is the best and quickest mod.
You guys in the U.S. go to Evosport and have the flash done, don't spend your money on others things yet, really you won't be disappointed.
But this moring on the Freeway I floored the car first time, it reached 1-- km/h in a flash but later on I saw the CEL turn on, I stop the car switch it off and on again the CEL is still on, the engine and everything sounds normal so I guess may be the emission sensor, going to have the car check by Powerchip on Monday, hope is just a simple reset with the ECU not like some of you guys have some faulty parts in the engine.

Thanks. After the CEL turn on, I have droven the car for a few times. I still drive the car normally, sometimes very hard but only for a short time. Tonight after finished work I started my car and the CEL was gone.
Don't know what happened,

listen guys my car made 385 to the wheel on a dyno with k&n everything else is stock. (dynojet)
so with this tune evo sport-powerchip i should be making 450 to the wheel.
evosport made 371 with ther stock c63
and with the chip they made 436 thats a 65 whp gain.
thats how i got my numbers. i wish i could tell you guys more but its been raining here in staten island for the past 2day and cant get no grip.
monday i will be going to dyno my car. (dynojet same place)
thusday i will be going to atco to see what it does on track.
i put a over 100 miles on the tune so far.
so with this tune evo sport-powerchip i should be making 450 to the wheel.

i was just reading on the evo sport thread/post.
they did that on 91 oct. im using 93. how much of diff does that make?
that means i should gain more then 65 whp. so my car sould have more then 450 whp yayyyyyyyy

I am going to keep an eye on this thread for your dyno results, something does not make sense.
One more note, your car may not make 435 on the dyno today, dynos do vary, if you are running on the same model dyno with the same software you should be within +/- 2% of the 435 figure, if not something is wrong. If you are running on a Dyno Dynamics dyno today don't be suprised if you are closer to 5% down from dynojet figures...that has been my experience through the years. The real test would be to get that stocker you raced up on the rollers a see what it pumps out compared to yours, that will most accurately gauge your Powerchip gains.

My stock EURO c63 got 372 WHP on dynodynamic dyno. and after MHP reflash v2 it got 433 whp on the same dyno. no mods. stock car.
BTW, you have to beat up on the car after the reflash and you have to do it ALOT! When I got my car on the dyno after reflash I had 100 miles on it and it was driven not very hard. my first pull was like 405 whp, second was 410whp, next one 415 whp, and then it went up to 433 whp and stayed there all other runs, I made like 3 of them. 431, 432, 433 whp. So when i got my car on the dyno first the ecu was not learnt yet! so before you dyno your car, make sure you driven it hard alot. or you have to have your own friends dyno to do this hard runs on the dyno like I did on my car

A stock C63 should not be able to hang with your ECU tuned C63, even if you give him the break you should reel him back in pretty easily. Are you sure he was stock? When you say you got an Evosport tune, do you mean Powerchip? I think Powerchip is the only ECU tuning company that Evosport works with. What else is done to your car?

I believe mthis said he made 385rwhp with K&Ns stock on the same dyno he's going to post tune test on. IIRC it's a DJ.

sorry for the mis understanding guys my car made 385whp sdt smoth5 (5th gear)
with sae smoth5 stock it made 374.90 whp (5th gear)
with sae smoth5 evosport/powerchip it made 391.10whp (5th gear)
as soon as i get the raw date from my dyno guy ill post them up.
i could not get a sheet to show everyone bc his connection from the dyno computer to his printer was not working and he will email me all the date from my stock 2 runs (4th gear and 5th gear) to my evo/powerchip 3 run (one 4th gear and two 5th gear runs)
im very disapointed right now im very mad i sent my ecu bad to powerchip and toled them to flash it back stock. i rele dont think im ganna do a tune at all now.

I dont get it - how can a flash make more in one car and less in another - wouldnt it just be like comparing a stock ECU to another stock ECU - just like all the dynos here are within a few %
Has anyone actually flashed their car and notice a considerable difference? I would think 80+ crank HP would warrant a NOTICABLE difference.
