bone stock.........I love what you guys have done with the tuning options. 11.5 is nuts!!!! How are you guys liking the C63?

We are having a tough time finding R&D for the IS-F.......supercharge kit in the works but nothing viable as of yet!

Oh......blue IS-F is a friend, not mine! Still waiting for drag radials!

That's a solid ET for a stocker, nice work What was your trap?

Love the C63, the displacement affords for a nice flat tq curve and the power is rampant all the way to 7500rpm even with stock intake/exhaust. The motor pulls effortlessly, the term liquid comes to mind. Definitely a great platform for dragging as far as MBs go anyway.

We can tune IS-Fs as well btw, we just weren't sure how large of a market there is/would be.

Trap for the 12.38 was 115 mph with a 1.9 60ft.......So tell me more about the tuning. To my knowledge, toyota ecu's are notorious for being difficult to tune. I know of quite a few IS-F owners who would be interested as well.

Pretty sporty.

Bosch/Siemens/Getrag ECU/TCUs aren't exactly cake either.

We can do the same things we do to 63 AMGs with your ECU/TCUs. Alter A/F, timing tables, reduce or eliminate ECU and TCU torque management = quicker/firmer shifts, eliminate in gear TM, almost completely eliminate adaptive learning, increase line pressure, heighten throttle response, revise part throttle tables, raise stall speed, raise shift points, rev limiter, remove top speed limiter, etc.

How much are we looking at and where can this be done. I'm on the east coast in Virginia......do you have supporting shops etc? What kind of numbers hp, torque etc. are we looking at?

Shoot me a PM or email to discuss pricing. Being the beta tester you'd receive a discount obviously.

You just need to FedEx or UPS us your ECU/TCU. I have a satelite shop in Edgewood, MD if you need them to pull the control units and reinstall them.

As for gains, I'll have to look at the base cal tomorrow. I don't want to throw out any numbers arbitrarily.

nice run 8speed. ther is a guy in here that ran a 12.2 with nittos i think. check out drag times. i ran a couple 12.4 one thats lower then the dragtimes and a bunch of 12.5. im very impresed with your trap speed but very disapointed with you 60 foot. with m/t you should be lower.

Yeah 60 ft should be better. No manual here........all 8 speed auto!

8speed must be a frustrated M3 guy who couldnt get it done with a M3 so he sold out and bought a Lexus IS 250. Thats Lexus' fastest car right? My grandma has one. And I am 50.

Its doing great for me it replaced my 911 GT3. I test drove a IS 250 or what ever you call your toyota. I can tell you right now right here there is no way your unmodded car is with in .5 a second of a AMG C63
No way, unless you are bench racing. Not only that if you go to a real race track not a drag strip your car will be seconds behind a AMG, not half a second. But then again you would blow your brakes probably after the second lap you know that and dont go to a real race track. Since I have been to a REAL race track with 3 different 911s and have test driven the M3 the RS4 and your car based on the Celica , I know the Toyota is the slowest of the lot.
I guess if you took your Celica to the strip thats down hill with a tail wind you might get some low times but your still a .5 seconds behind the AMG which is a detuned version of the real 6.2 liter. If its tuned back to where it belongs at around 510 hp your toyota is again minutes slower. My wifes 335 is faster than the IS

Why is it that M3 drivers and lately IS-F drivers have all become such jerks? Last night a M3 driver nearly killed himself along side a few pedestrians, only because he had seen a C63!

Come on... Red light to Red light racing? Really??!?!? Let me go get my bicycle!

And really when it gets to drag races and quarter mile runs.. instead of creating a username only and only to come here and bash a group of people who you clearly know are C63 owners.. understand that our cars are driven by science.. and your car cannot defy those laws.

As PaulGT3 said.. do a bit of studying and understand why an un-modded IS-F will not be able to beat a C63 either on a quarter mile race or on a track.. those comments are not meant to bash your car, your taste or your values.. they are merely statements of scientific facts.

The AMG is a car of class and history, all of which lexus has none of.
But come in here yelling about how you did crap on a drag strip and your going to get crapped on. I could care less about your toyota. Its just not even in the same class as the AMG to be honest.

I know a few C32, AMG powered SRT-6's and C55 guys who would take you up on a race. I have to say if you were to run your IS-F out here in AZ you would never put down those kind of numbers. I've dispatched of an IS-F out here on the street and my best 1/4 mile run is 12.9. and that was at 3000ft D/A. That being said, I'm envious of you for having optimal conditions to make a good pass.

For this time, I completely did NOT agree with your statement. Lexus, as part of Toyota company, got better reliability, and look at their supra...with not even 4 Liter engine and able to produce 400++ HP, I choose C63 over IS-F just because it got better Interior (IMO), more torque, more HP, and "addicting" exahaust note.

I wouldn't surprise if in the next 1 year, the IS-F will beat-up the C63 w/ twin turbo installed.

For 8Speed, you DO have 500 ways to come to the forum and introduce your self POLITELY, and not bashing others. I NEVER met with people that LOVE being Bashed.
