bone stock.........I love what you guys have done with the tuning options. 11.5 is nuts!!!! How are you guys liking the C63?

We are having a tough time finding R&D for the IS-F.......supercharge kit in the works but nothing viable as of yet!

Oh......blue IS-F is a friend, not mine! Still waiting for drag radials!

That's a solid ET for a stocker, nice work What was your trap?

Love the C63, the displacement affords for a nice flat tq curve and the power is rampant all the way to 7500rpm even with stock intake/exhaust. The motor pulls effortlessly, the term liquid comes to mind. Definitely a great platform for dragging as far as MBs go anyway.

We can tune IS-Fs as well btw, we just weren't sure how large of a market there is/would be.

Thanks
Andy

Trap for the 12.38 was 115 mph with a 1.9 60ft.......So tell me more about the tuning. To my knowledge, toyota ecu's are notorious for being difficult to tune. I know of quite a few IS-F owners who would be interested as well.

Pretty sporty.

Bosch/Siemens/Getrag ECU/TCUs aren't exactly cake either.

We can do the same things we do to 63 AMGs with your ECU/TCUs. Alter A/F, timing tables, reduce or eliminate ECU and TCU torque management = quicker/firmer shifts, eliminate in gear TM, almost completely eliminate adaptive learning, increase line pressure, heighten throttle response, revise part throttle tables, raise stall speed, raise shift points, rev limiter, remove top speed limiter, etc.

If you're interested in trying out a tune for your IS-F email me at andrew@modernhorsepower.com

Thanks
Andy

Shoot me a PM or email to discuss pricing. Being the beta tester you'd receive a discount obviously.

You just need to FedEx or UPS us your ECU/TCU. I have a satelite shop in Edgewood, MD if you need them to pull the control units and reinstall them.

As for gains, I'll have to look at the base cal tomorrow. I don't want to throw out any numbers arbitrarily.

Great vids, 8Speed. Awe struck by the Camaro; very fast reaction time. It would be nice to see Andy run the Mustang.

8speed must be a frustrated M3 guy who couldnt get it done with a M3 so he sold out and bought a Lexus IS 250. Thats Lexus' fastest car right? My grandma has one. And I am 50.
Here is a video from the track where IS 250 http://www.drivers-republic.com/dr_t...&area=features

Its doing great for me it replaced my 911 GT3. I test drove a IS 250 or what ever you call your toyota. I can tell you right now right here there is no way your unmodded car is with in .5 a second of a AMG C63
No way, unless you are bench racing. Not only that if you go to a real race track not a drag strip your car will be seconds behind a AMG, not half a second. But then again you would blow your brakes probably after the second lap you know that and dont go to a real race track. Since I have been to a REAL race track with 3 different 911s and have test driven the M3 the RS4 and your car based on the Celica , I know the Toyota is the slowest of the lot.
I guess if you took your Celica to the strip thats down hill with a tail wind you might get some low times but your still a .5 seconds behind the AMG which is a detuned version of the real 6.2 liter. If its tuned back to where it belongs at around 510 hp your toyota is again minutes slower. My wifes 335 is faster than the IS
Does your dad know your on his computer?

Why is it that M3 drivers and lately IS-F drivers have all become such jerks? Last night a M3 driver nearly killed himself along side a few pedestrians, only because he had seen a C63!

Come on... Red light to Red light racing? Really??!?!? Let me go get my bicycle!

And really when it gets to drag races and quarter mile runs.. instead of creating a username only and only to come here and bash a group of people who you clearly know are C63 owners.. understand that our cars are driven by science.. and your car cannot defy those laws.

As PaulGT3 said.. do a bit of studying and understand why an un-modded IS-F will not be able to beat a C63 either on a quarter mile race or on a track.. those comments are not meant to bash your car, your taste or your values.. they are merely statements of scientific facts.

MrTesting hit the nail on the head Come in here talking crap and you get it back
Look anyone who comes into another forum professing how fast his car is than the car of the forum IS looking for problems
IF you werent trying to cause problems there are 50 other ways to come in here and introduce yourself. You have come in here like all the other jerks that say my car did this and my car did that.
Pick a better way that all the other 300 guys that have come in here posting the EXACT same thing they did and you will earn some respect.
Otherwise keep it in the Lexus forum where it belongs.
You have done the SAME thing everyother troll does with 8 posts you have said nothing to earn any respect from us.
Even your sig says your a small boy "ford focus killer"
Woah are we supposed to be impressed? We have guys in here that have Ferraris and Porsches and whatever else. The AMG is a Daily for us. Why in the hell would we care about some ford focus killer LOL! I mean really.
The other guys have stepped up to the AMG for their performance cars and made a great choice. Any of us could have bought a M3 (one did and traded it in ASAP) or a Lexus, they just dont measure up. And neither do you.
The AMG is a car of class and history, all of which lexus has none of.
But come in here yelling about how you did crap on a drag strip and your going to get crapped on. I could care less about your toyota. Its just not even in the same class as the AMG to be honest.

I know a few C32, AMG powered SRT-6's and C55 guys who would take you up on a race. I have to say if you were to run your IS-F out here in AZ you would never put down those kind of numbers. I've dispatched of an IS-F out here on the street and my best 1/4 mile run is 12.9. and that was at 3000ft D/A. That being said, I'm envious of you for having optimal conditions to make a good pass.

For this time, I completely did NOT agree with your statement. Lexus, as part of Toyota company, got better reliability, and look at their supra...with not even 4 Liter engine and able to produce 400++ HP, I choose C63 over IS-F just because it got better Interior (IMO), more torque, more HP, and "addicting" exahaust note.

I wouldn't surprise if in the next 1 year, the IS-F will beat-up the C63 w/ twin turbo installed.

For 8Speed, you DO have 500 ways to come to the forum and introduce your self POLITELY, and not bashing others. I NEVER met with people that LOVE being Bashed.

Just my $ 0.02
peace guys

[QUOTE=8speeed;3184267] But I also know that the IS-F is a nice balance between the three and will beat the new M3 in a straight line race all day long, and a C63 around the track.

I just have to say...not sure why everyone sweats dragtimes. How easy is it to fabricate anything and everything one posts on there?

If it aint on vid or I dont see it with my own eyes, I dont believe it.
