Winter tyres and rims
Thanks
Thanks
Go to your own forum. He was asking about specific fitment not recommendations on style and tire type. Sorry to direct this at you - but this is now getting silly.
I haven't said anything negative to any of you.
Ironically, I just got back from the MB dealership and was just looking at the C63 and ML...but even if I do get either, I'm not sure I want to be associated with people like you.

How much do the stock 5 branch 18inch c63 wheels weight ?
thanks

Let me know and I can check on Monday.
thanks

"18 x 8" is the wheel size in diameter x width...not offset
. Offset is the distance from the hub mounting surface to wheel centerline and is critical in getting right to prevent interference with either the fender lip on the outside or wheel well/suspension/brake bits on the inside.P.S. there's a handy offset fitment calculator at the following link:

I would also be interested in any info you have on lightweight 18" wheels Brad...TIA!

Thanks for the clarification, I appreciate it.
The offset for mine is only 35mm which doesn't help you guys.
Moebiusone, tirerack has a very similar wheel to the OZ in the SSR Type F that fits your car.

BBS RX - 18x8, et32, 24lbs - $370/each

Enkei Racing RPM2 - 18x8, et35, 19.4lbs - $275/each (silver or hyper black)

Enkei Racing RP03 - 18x8, et35, 20.2lbs - $350/each

Enkei Racing RPF1 - 18x8, et35, 17.8lbs - $325/each

Enkei Racing NT03+M (the McLaren F1 wheel) - 18x8, et35, 19.4lbs - $335/each

OZ Alleggerita HLT - 18x8 - $375/each

OZ Superturismo GT - 18x8, et35 or et50, 24lbs - $334/each (black or silver)

OZ Ultraleggera - 18x8, et35 or et45, 18.6-19lbs - $348/each (black or silver)
My preference and recommendation would be enkei. Best value, strong, could be winter wheels now and track wheels in the summer!
I have the RPF1 on my MRoadster, and we use the NT03+M on all of our race cars.
We obviously sell these. We are direct with BBS and Enkei.
thanks

Lets look at the front:
- Assuming the front is 18x8 with et45 (taking this from the second post).
- The stock wheels can easily take a 10mm spacer, giving an essential offset of et35
- Thus, an et35 wheel should give you the proper look without needing to add a spacer to the stock wheels
Lets look at the rear:
- Assuming the front is 18x9 with et54 (taking this from the second post).
- 1" is approx 25mm, and you are using a 1" narrower wheel, thus you are taking 12.5mm off each side of the wheel.
- Thus a 18x9 et54 and an 18x8 et66 will have the same outer profile.
- To give you the correct look, I would use a 30mm spacer kit
- The 30mm H&R spacer kit is very safe to use (all H&R spacers are TUV approved and hub-centric). The 30mm kit bolts to the hub, then the wheel bolts to the spacer. Thus you are not using 30mm longer bolts.
So net/net, I would go this route with my car, especially if I already had the OZ's. If I was buying new, the Enkei RP01 is light and affordable, and would be my choice.
