I just got a 06 e60 M5 , and after reading about the c63 and how easy it is to get it into the 11's I want to drive my car into a tree. I do like how the M5 stands out a bit more the the 63 , but I have always been a quarter mile guy. It might be on eBay soon...

I dumped my '08 E90 M3 for the C63 & don't regret a moment of it. True, an M3 < M5.

The only thing I disagree with is that the M5 stands out more than the 63.

Have you driven the C63 yet?

All I can tell you is enjoy your M5. If you are a quarter mile guy, why did you by the M5?

I had a 07 m6 with almost 500rwhp and I still miss that damn car...if you are not sure about it, don't do it....who cares about quarter mile times. The s85 engine is awesome, along with the smg III.

M5 has more aggressive looking than a c63 imo.

V10 500hp, HUD, comfort seat, convenient access, which C63 doesnt have.

Jeff just drive the 2 cars and then make up your mind. I have driven the M5 and the M6 and would stay with the AMG. I just dont know what kind of bath you would take for dumping the M5. You might get a trade though

I wouldn't replace an M5 with a C63 ... I don't like how it looks or it's V10 engine or the fact that it's a bimmer ... but wouldn't replace it with a C63 .. an E63 definitely but not a C63

From going to the CLS55 to an m6, and driving my brother S63, I was always a big AMG fan. Never yet been in a C63 but I could imagine it is a sick car. I feel that the M5/M6 is one of the funnest cars to ever drive, the SMGIII in it is an amazing trany that can shift way faster then anything ive ever been in (especialy with the MHP tune) I also feel that an M5/M6 is alot more playfull then the AMG's I fell that they are easier to get sideways and drift around turns, due to better handleing and just more controll then the AMG's but hey, like i said, i never drove a C63 I may be wrong! Cant go wrong with either of them.

OK. Why the E63 vs. C63 (purely due to having more room)?

more like size ... C63s and M3 saloons look almost too small .. I like the idea of the tuned up super saloons for having this impressive split personality, the luxurious family larry beast, so having them almost as small as a normal sports car sort of takes away the charm .. but then again it's a matter of personal likings and I'm sure your C63 is a wonderful car to drive

oh yea .. and you need to tune the C63 up to take on an M5 whilst the E63 comes stock with a few more HPs than the M5s V10 .. not a strong selling point I know, just wanted to sound abit technical heh
