LSD 1st Service in Canada charge??
Are there any other Canadian C63 owners out there with P30 package?
I had my LSD service done yesterday and MB Canada is insistent that we the customer are to pay for this ($210). I was under the impression that this was a N/C service. Am I wrong???

I had to pay - the dealer actuall didnt have it in the system when i went to do it - and had no idea that the fluid needed to be changed - i had to show them the sticker on the window.

I saw that in the manual...it says the C63 needs a diff fluid change at 2K miles...So is this only for P30 equipped cars?
And also...this is free in the US? I thought it was free in Canada?

For those of you who are DIY inclined. Go to a BMW dealer for the Castrol SAF-XJ 75W-140. It is 50-60% less than the MB dealer.
Have a 17mm hex to fit into the drain and fill plugs. It takes A LOT to break them free, so have a breaker bar to do it.
When the oil comes out it will look metallic grey. The oil going in looks like wesson oil. Heat your oil in hot water to help the flow a bit or filling can take time if you are using gravity feed like I did. If you have a way to force it in, then just fill until it starts to flow out the fill hole. Let excess flow out.
I used the original plug and put a little high temp silicon sealer on them. They are not plugs that seat, they are tapered plugs.
I also have enough oil to change again at say 75-100K.
Wait until you hit 40K and have to pay for the transmission oil change! Ask your SA what the price is. You may want to shop!

Just left a voicemail with my sales rep about it. I'm sure he will email or call me back tomorrow on the situation, as they are open saturdays.

Spoke with my local dealerships service manager today.
He said they would charge me for the service, has not heard from MB Canada that this service is covered like in the States.
