C 63 Dave

There is a lag in the throttle response in first gear from either a standing start or a rolling start. Several magazine articles noted this when they did an early review of the C 63 and hoped they would have it fixed when they were in production. I took delivery of my car in May and the dealer tells me they have notihing on this yet. However, the AMG specialist at the dealer recommended a "sprint Bootster". Anyone have a similar issue or found a solution????

yes had that problem, as u can see on this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuoJP5DrGkY) at 19-20 sec my car dipped down watch it on high def and you will see. thats was with 1200miles on the car.

used the same takeoff in both videos. 2000 rpm break stall.

have m.b check you throttle it may be of by 4%to 5% and also have them check for leaks in the intake manifold and intakes. if you have 1 of thoes 3 problem thats you answer.

when was your car built mine was in 4/7/08 i picked up im may as well.

Did you have one of the 3 problems you list as possible problems? If so, was there any TSB out for the issue, or did you local MB tech find the issue and fix it?

i had all 3 and yes the tech found out was the problem was. i keep bothering them every 2-3 weeks till they fixed it, now my car work like a champ.

Um, weird mine was on the the first 40 or so that came to the US back in may and i don't seem to have a problem. Damn, now im paranoid about it, maybe i just haven't noticed it?????

hey how do you find out which models were the 1st to come to U.S.
i got my car in may as well and it was built in 4/7/08 could mine be one of does 40?
