sync with i phone?
Hi Guys
just got my c63 here,
Everything is perfect in the car, but I'm having troubles trying to Sync my contacts into the car? Need help please!
Or whatever phone works, i might just buy that one, thinking about a Blackberry right now!!
the dealer said i need to save it all on a PCMCIA card (but who still makes them man).
How does everyone listen to music? AUX cable? Im just burning 4gig dvds now.
Cheers

Here in Australia i was using an old Nokia wich dealer synced in no time at all he day i got the car a few weeks ago. I switched to an iPhone yesterday and had to buy a new bluetooth cradle for it (apparently because the car's builtin bluetooth is not modern enough for iPhone) which sit in storage bin between the front seats. Dealer paired it / synced it for me in seconds and installed all contacts no probs so i can scroll through phone book on car tv display. Works like a dream.

Well my i phone doesn't have to be inserted or plugged into anything as the pictures on that website seem to indicate. All i do is insert the little black device they sold me which is a little bigger than a matchbox, into the socket in the storage bin between seats. My iphone can sit in my pocket or wherever and the car recognises the phone is there and it all works automatically.

I know of the MB HFP Bluetooth cradle. And the Viseeo Bluetooth cradle. And the iPhone cradle. Is it one of those?

It is a limitation of the iPhone, not the car. You can sync contacts with any phone that supports that action. Blackberries sync like a champ.

My experience also. I had to pair the blackberry using the alternate method explained in the book. Once paired though, uploading the contacts was a breeze. That functionality doesn't exist in the iPhone which is a limitation of the phone not the MB.

Not exactly
If you you have music that you ripped from a CD into iTunes you can then copy that music from your PC HDD to a PCMCIA card then upload to the MB. If you purchased music through iTunes it is protected and can only be played on "authorized devices". I don't know of any way to "authorize" a MB to play purchased content from iTunes.

I have the moto Q9c (windows mobile) and can sync contacts that only have a phone number but for whatever reason the ones that have more info (e-mail, addy, additional phones, etc) will not upload. I do not have the upgraded media options since I did not order my C63 and grabbed the first one that came in in april...
Any advice?

Got my PCMCIA card with SD adaptor on ebay - around AUS$28 shipped to my address in Adelaide. Definitely able to import my MP3 files and saved them to the HDD on the C63. Next step is to export Outlook contacts onto the SD card then import into the phone book in the C63
