Ever hear of MB dealerships owner's special rates?

I was talking to a friend of mine today at the office mentioning that I am looking into leasing a C63. He said that best case scenario would be to get one of the 5 or so spots that the dealership owner has. Apparently the owner can give out 5 leased cars for VERY cheap to whomever he wants. He said he is real friendly with a local MB dealer owner, and already did this for his friend.

What is the deal with this? Any information will help. Would this apply to the C63 if he can pull it off again?!

2009 C63
sounds like an employee/family/friends thing - if u can get one jump on it

i got my RRS as part of the X plan from Ford, but they had a whole bunch of other plans for different people -

from the sounds of it this plan u speak about offers much lower rates (altho C63 lease rates are atrocious)

Most dealers get "MVP" rates or deals each month. This is dependant on the dealer (mostly based on volume) -- not all qualify. Though I have heard that MBZ has cut back dramatically on the amount of MVP deals they are allocating lately.

I got my ML as an MVP rate. Not sure of the residual/money factor but at the time is was cheap (April 2007) -- $601.73/month including tax (7%). $601.73 OOP (first month) 27 months 20K miles per year.

Any idea what like an S550 would go for with employee pricing? My friend is going to call his friend who is the dealership owner today.

No DEPP or MVP pricing for S550's. Not a simple thing either. Its become very regulated.

Current promotions are on the following. C300, C300 4matic, C350, E350, R320, R350,ML320,GL320,GL450.

Well that stinks...would only be interested in an AMG (preferably a C63), or an S550.

If you or the company you work for purchase or lease enough new vehicles each year its possible to get a fleet # from MB and get extra discounts on different models.

We do purchase cars for the company, but not mercedes. Unless they want to do a 1 year lease with 25k miles, then keep it changing every year...but i've never heard of that.

Is there something like that? Where can I find out more details?

When this deal was offered to us, it was MSRP - 12.5%. It has been increased later to MSRP - 15.0%. With business conditions as they are, I have no idea what's offered today since Chrysler is no longer a player.
