My MHP Experience

My MHP experience all boils down to 443 rear wheel horsepower and 406 ft-lbs - weather corrected to my baseline for a gain of 63 rwhp and 30 ft-lbs.

That is 520.5hp at the crank - using the 17.5% or 522.7 using 18%

All in 5th gear - Video to prove it. watch the speedo - near 300km/hr is redline in 5th...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQCv2eB9z2I

Last numbers I saw from EvoSport - which are stickeyd, are 430hp and 385 ft-lbs (in 5th) - this tune is 13hp and 21 ft-lbs higher

here is a link to the comparisons - MHP has them all beat - by alot!
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ners-mods.html

The reason why they made the car with 451hp is because when you have 520 you can not control the bloody thing, this thing was a beast, now its a beast out of its cage, i have trouble finding traction in most of 2nd and sometimes in 3rd ... way different, way better...wayyyyy more tires.

I have attached a very high quality scan of the dynos - one weather corrected numbers one not - the weather correction factor was .96. and everyone will see the huge gain over stock.

Stock Base line was done on same dyno, same set up, same operators. I have 350Km on my tune...ill re dyno at 1000.

take it for what it is - a ***king insane tune.

Hmm another happy C owner, CONGRATS on those numbers, sounds like a beast, and wow that is a pretty big jump (21ft lbs of torque!!!!) from the evosport pc tune.

MHP Tuned C63 Dyno

The numbers look great, and as long as you're happy with the tune, congrats....

To make it easier to compare the numbers across multiple tuners, it'd be great if you can re-dyno the car on a dynojet and in 4th gear. This should make it easier to compare this MHP-tuned C63 dyno sheet to Evosport/Powerchip's tuned C63 dyno sheet.

I'm surprised you would accept that.
A month for a copy and paste (flash) tune?
That's what we're talking about, right?

How about one day out and one day back like VRP flashed my 55 ecu?

I've dyno'd many cars back to back, and it's easy to get a 13HP difference, plus or minus at these power levels.... if you didn't have the evosport car on the same dyno, same day, etc... it means nothing...

Doesn't a Mustang dyno normally read lower than a dynojet?

In reff to these numbers^^^ you linked to

How can you say MHP has them beat by alot? All these dyno's are on done all over the country on different dynos.

This data is not exactly fair since the ML63 has bigger wheels and tires, that would result in baseline dyno number along with flashed numbers to be lower.

If your tune is making you happy than that is all that matters.

A better measure would probably be at the track. We need to find a Evosport/Powerchip-flashed C63 and run it against stefario's C63 or even Andy's C63...... now that would be one action packed track day

60-130 mph is a great real world dyno provided its done with a quality gps/accelerometer. Takes most of the variables out of the equasion and puts to rest all the dyno bs.

yup Dynojets read 7% higher that Mustangs.

I know that number well since I tune on Mustangs but we impound test on dynojets.

That's what I thought, as I recall reading more than a handful of posts in which people stated Mustang Dynos usually read 7% to 10% lower than a dynojet

7% of 446 rwhp is about 31 hp. Even if we take only half of that figure, we get 16 hp + 8 to 10 hp gained if dynoed in 4th gear + original 13 hp difference, we should get at least 30 hp difference between the tunes. I think the op should dyno in 4th gear and on a dynojet, then compare it directly to Evosport, RennTech, etc....

Dyno was in "Mustang" mode with load - that is why it took 15 seconds or whatever to reach redline.

I did 4 runs - the last 3 were all 452-453 Non corrected.

Pick it apart all you want, i sent my ecu to Andy and i got a solid tune that was proved immediatly on a 3rd party dyno - that is what i gave him my money for.

tell me where a DynoJet station is near Vancouver and ill try and make it there ...

are there any PC/ Renntech / Kleeman dyno's availalbe - could someone link it if there is ?

C63 09' LSD traded for 2010 GT-R
Based on the reported gains I would say the results are pretty much what I saw with my Renntech program on my car.

These 1/4 mile times with Drag Radial are not real world for most on this forum since we are running stock sized street tires.

Thanks to AMG for letting us uncork so much power with a simple ECU tune!
