Does the C63 require a transmission/coolant flush at 2k miles?
I was at my dealer a couple of weeks back having him perform a state emissions check (I bought out of state) and he told me that the C63 required some kind of rear coolant or transmission fluid flush (I can't remember which one he said) at 2,000 miles.
He said it was mentioned in the manual but I couldn't find it referenced. I thought Service A was the first service required at around 10,000 miles.

Thanks guys. Is there a way to check if I have the standard open differential? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm not a true "car guy" yet!

That sticker comes on all new cars stating the break-in procedure, but for cars equipped with the performance package (or optional LSD), the sticker would state that LSD oil needs to be changed at 2,000 miles to get rid of the break-in type fluids and replace with recommended oil.

Some cars like mine came with just the locking diff and delimiter as options. There was no sticker on my windshield indicating fluid change but it states it in the manual. If you purchased the car new and did not get the PP then check your window sticker options list as initially some cars were sold this way, a PP without the stiffer suspension, floating rotors or alcantara wheel. On any performance car I would recommend changing out the oil, transmission and diff fluids between 1000-2000 miles even if there were no manufacturer recommendations.

and the op with the car he does not have all the data on. Will show him if he was getting screwed by the dealer or the dealer was giving him the correct info and he has a LSD.You don't want to miss that early break in fluid change.The LSD will not last long running the BI mixture.
If the dealer was not aware of what features you have,or was aware and was just trying to fleece you,Run and find a different dealer.You have found out early their Modus operandi and better early than never
