I don't know how many of you are into RC cars, planes, or helis, but this 2008 Mercedes C-Class AMG DTM from Tamiya is pretty sweet. Check it out.

The official Tamiyausa.com site has it listed for $244 but can't buy it yet (but still good for looking up related parts.) eTamiya.com has it for $150 and they do have it in stock. Remember, as of now it is NOT a complete kit but still require extra ECU (TEU-101BK), battery and charger, and radio transmitter. I am waiting for the release of the complete kit later to save me some trouble (as I have no parts at all). Here are the additional links:

Tamiya had a 1:24 W204 AMG model kit that has been discontinued? The real car is still in production! I still have a 1:24 W202 kit that I started on years ago but never completed. I forget which team it is. It is all green.

Let me know if you can find one because I do want a W204 kit, but I guess I should be happy that they will have the RTR version out soon.

I can't find any other C-Class DTM diecast besides those 2 from Autoart. I guess you'd have to order the grey one from a US distributor if you wanted one, plus that one is $5 cheaper than MSRP

I'm going to buy it from towerhobbies.com. The prebuilt ones are pretty well done. Not the fastest of course but you can't beat a ready to run car. I've built my share of r/c cars in my youth, I don't have that time now.

I only decaled and clear coated the hood. The body only has decals on the drive side and still need decals on the passenger side and clear coat.

SHI*T!! After looking at the box and the model, I just realized I placed the decals in the incorrect position on the hood. Oh well.....LOL!

I know this is off topic, but what do you recommend for radio? I am thinking about either the stock Tamiya from the RTR kit, or get a decent Futaba. I still don't know should I go for AM or FM, so I do need some pointers on that.

I know this is off topic, but what do you recommend for radio? I am thinking about either the stock Tamiya from the RTR kit, or get a decent Futaba
Do you have the link for the complete kit including radio ready-to-run?

All the links i've checked from this thread seem to not include the radio or maybe i'm a R/C car noob
