C63(me)vs mod IS-F vs mod z06

Nice race!

I've always liked the IS F...what's your opinion of it after racing it? Do you think the IS F would have pulled even with you without the passenger in the car?

I doubt we would of been even with if he had no passenger but it was a good race and i was impressed that i couldnt pull more on him. We are planning another race soon after i completely break in my ECU and i get my secondary cats deleted. BTW that Z06 was pulling like a train!

The only mod the IS F had was an intake? Hmmm It looked like you guys were hitting the 120 mph mark...had the race continued do you think the IS F would have past you? Aren't they limited to 170+ whereas the Benz is limited to 155mph?

LMAO

I just read your remark from youtube...

If owning IS350 is being rich i guess AMG or ISF owners would be considered millionares?

Well, I am not limited anymore since they took my limiter off. But you do have a point with the AMGs hitting a top speed of about 160 becuz of the limiter I suppose the IS-F would have no problem passing after that

The whole video is full of fial because of the Lil Wayne song.

And why would you have to "break-in" the ecu?

Well its not an "official" break in process like when we bought our car. However, after a couple hundred miles the ECU tends to completely adjust to the car and run at its full potential. At least that's what i've been told!

That's a nice movie. I was wondering why you've got German license plates on your car? Nice car though!

Nice runs... A little surprised though. The ECU needs to adapt for a few miles, this is the "learning" stage. You get full power after the adaption or a few WOT pulls, its all true.

I did happen to notice that you and the EVO were racing in traffic, as he had to cut over what looked like 2 lanes and then dodge back. Not very smart.

You're spelling is the only "fial" I see. Got to agree Lil Wayne isn't my music of choice though.

ECU would need to adapt to the transmission, form its shift points. I'm assuming that's what he means.

Internet lingo. :o and I agree with Inf4life, racing in traffic like that is going to get somebody killed one day.

That was ISF running against EVO.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think with K2 package you can easily hit 170+mph.

My mistake for not clarifying that the second race against the EVO is not me and i have nothing to do with that. Our race was done late at night and there was no traffic at all were we did it.

Looks like the IS-F had a split second head start on top of the car length it was already in front. What speed did you guys start the race because it looked like you guys started fairly high to reach 120 mph so quickly. Awesome race though. Was the Z06 just a stranger that joined in or was it part of your crew?

We need a godamn M5board style landing strip to test 50-280 kph because starting from 45-50 mph (70-80 kph) is just too fast.

Soldier - did you take your foot off the gas pedal or even slighty let your foot off before you braked when the Z06 got in front of you? I'm asking this because it looked like you were starting to walk on the IS-F faster and faster but then decelerated once the Z06 came in front.

We did start at 50 MPH. The Z06 got in front of me and i was gaining more ground until he decided to brake in front of me so i had to decelerate

Sorry, but there's no tune available for the F.

There were a couple of guys who had tried working something out with MHP, but that whole fiasco blew up just like here. There is very little available for the F as far as aftermarket upgrades. There has yet to be anyone that has been able to crack the ECU on the F.

Oh ya...btw, great race soldier....looks like it was tons of fun
