Just picked ours up. Thank you Mercedes Benz of South Bay (Torrance, CA).
Just took delivery of our ’09 C63 that we purchased from Mercedes Benz of South Bay in Torrance, CA. Got the deal squared away last Wednesday and flew in Saturday to drive it back home to Vegas. My wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased from working with David Guerra, the Internet Manager, Sun Park, the Sales Consultant, and Xenia Medina, Support Staff. On Saturday, Sung picked us up at LAX and a couple of hours later, we were headed back to Vegas. Sung even put a teddy bear wearing a pink Mercedes sweater on the driver seat to surprise my wife! Everyone was very professional; from the initial calls, pre-sale emails, and follow-up calls. They were in constant communication with me during the entire process. I would not buy from our local Fletcher Jones dealership again! If anyone is looking for a Mercedes, I highly recommend contacting them.

Congrats and enjoy. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Hope you didn't pay too much. Those people have the absolute worst reputation in Southern California (owned by AutoNation.)
But it sounds like they treated you well. Maybe they're trying to clean up their act.

Who I wouldn't deal with is Fletcher Jones in Vegas or any non-national chained owned dealership in Vegas. I bought my '08 Acura RDX last year at an independently owned dealership last year and they made it feel like they did me a big favor. Before that, I purchased an Infiniti FX-35 by another locally owned dealer and they wanted to tack on VIN etching even when the vehicle is at port before it was delviered to the dealer! Vegas is a different beast before Autonation Moved in. It was run by the "good old boys" network and only a few families controlled all the dealerships. The only exception to a Vegas dealer I would deal with is run by the Findlay family.

It was an absolute First Class treatment and we couldn't have been any happier. Price is on target with what people have been quoted last week with the MBUSA rebate and the usual discount (see prior price threads from last week). My doc and real good friend is looking for a GL and I am going to send him down there. He is also tired dealing with Fletcher Jones in Vegas.
Last time I was there, they were handing out customer service evaluations left and right. They know they need to shape up. It's not business as usual. AutoNation has been losing a lot of money lately (like everybody else) and they've been closing dealers to cut losses.
But MB South Bay still tries to pull bone-headed stuff. Take a look at the link I posted.

Congrats! That's awesome. I'm sure you had a nice cruise back to Vegas ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Hopefully the C63 didn't get too dirty on the way home.
A pick up from the airport sounds like they really went out of their way for the good customer service.

Buying aftermarket rims from the dealer is always a rip-off. Come to think of it, I didn't see any cars with aftermarket rims while I was there. They must have changed their policy. The biggest bone-headed thing I have seen in Vegas are these dealers putting a markup for "marketplace adjustment." They do that a lot in Vegas....probably less now with the economy in the "tank."

Congrats on your new C63 Sincity ![Cheers](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif)
I had a good sales experience with MB of South Bay as well. They were straight-up, no BS or games. I drove up in my Evo 8 at almost closing time, and got to test drive a new C63 right then and there. That was in May 2008 when there were no cars on dealer lots and if there were, good luck getting a test drive. They treated me with respect and got me the car I wanted 3 weeks later.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
oh yeah .. p.s. -- nice collection you have there!

Congrats on the car but as to your customer service review I have to say I'm suprised you said that. My family has had horrible experiences with them in the past. My parents complained about them a lot throughout the years and are tired of dealing with them and ended up going to another dealer. Although it's owned by the same company, they feel that the customer service is a a lot better. But I'm glad that they made you feel like at home. Originally, I was going to get an '08, however, the price that was listed on the internet was a really low price so I thought I'd get a jump on it. However, when I called in, they said there was a mistake and bumped it up another 5K
Which led me to getting an '09 from a dealer.

Big congrats, Sincity, on acquiring your new toy. The comments on this thread only reconfirms what I've always felt: that it doesn't matter so much which dealership you go with as it does the specific individuals who serve you.
Enjoy your new ride!!
