I am in Australia and it is beyond me how you could get a warranty on tyre wear. My first set of tyres went est after 50 or so laps of Sandown Racecourse. That was the rears only and at 8000kms. I replaced all 4 tyres last week at 21500kms and this time I went to Goodyear Eagle F1 instead of the Pirellis.

My car has an LSD but I do not drift or do burn outs.

wow i just checked on tirerack.com for our tires...(http://www.tirerack.com/survey/Surve...reModel=PZero#) there are about 5 different reviews and everyone has had to change their tires with only 5,000 miles on them

2004 S55 (SOLD, miss it every day), 2009 GL550
Jeremy Clarkson trashed the C63 rear tires down to cord in 40 miles, so don't feel too bad

hp and torque has very little to do with it. Many cars have far more power and do not go through their tires as quickly.

yeah but when you have 451hp stock your more likely to lose your tire tread faster.

OK, what do you think is the reason of tyre wear on C63?

poor tire choice, possibly suspect alignment, aggressive driving, etc.

These are valid, but vehicle weight and torque have a LOT to do with tire wear.

It does not help that the tyres cannot be rotated and also run at 40psi

While I can't help you get cheap tires now, I can help you extend your tire life...

Pull out 4 of the 8 spark plug cables. Problem fixed.

2007 E63
I am thinking about trading in E63 for C63.
Does rear tires wear out that fast?
My E63 has 31,000 miles and only went thru 1 set+ one rear left tire so far.
Is it that bad? or does it depends on how you drive?
I know that it is hard not to push that gas pedal.
Anyone who put more than 10,000 miles on their tires?
Besides, what you guys think about the move from E63 to C63?

Thanks in advance

The best way to get more tread life is to switch from the crappy Pirelli's with which the C63 comes equipped.
