Drove an SL65 AMG Black Series Today and...
It was absolutley incredible! So my father and i get a call from our friend who we have bought many cars from saying that a neighbor of ours is looking to sell his sl65 amg black series with only 30 miles on it! apparently for the price of the black series he was able to get a few other cars instead and didn't feel that he would use it as much as he'd like to (even though he has a fully fireproof and ventilated underground garage capable of holding probably 50 cars....the building and zoning people refer to his garage as "the bat cave"). So we go over and hes there waiting for us with it all detailed up. He starts it up and i hear one of the most Godly cold starts i have ever heard. So my father and i took turns driving and it was just a fantastic ride. Although we were not pushing it to the extreme, we were having some fun. The sound of those turbos, the carbon fiber interior, the AMAZING responsiveness of the steering all equated to one hell of a car that was so extreme yet so refined. We have had many different and unique cars but this was truly towards the top in terms of everyday driveability and raw performance, even compared to the lamborghinis and ferraris. Anyway, just for a useless comparison, i drove it next to my C63 amg and was just eaten alive. This thing is truly a monster and i just felt that i had to share this with some fellow AMG owners.

Yes the suspension great and it does look ready for war! Sorry I only grabbed a few pics on my blackberry and and then flew out of the country a few hours after. I will try to grab more pictures when I get back. We actually just sold a few of our supercars so if anyone knows of a black series for sale in the next few months then let me know since that will defenitley be in the next group of orders. After coming from many different cars this black series still amazes me simply because it seems race ready and yet something you can drive to get a gallon of milk. MB really did well with this one and I hope to have it out on the track sometime soon.

There is/was one at Schumacher MB in Scottsdale, AZ. It's not on their website and not sure if that is because it is no longer available or if it was never on the website. Thought you might want to know...

I heard one of our clients peeling out in one he bought. You could hear the turbos screaming inside the building. I looked outside and expected to see a supra lol. That car is a work of art. #1 on my dream list.
